And I've just eaten four mince pies, but in my defence they were home-made, of home-made pastry and home-made mince, so oooooh hardly any sugar at all ....

I'm calling early at 5/31 please, Shaggy. It's OH's birthday tomorrow, and I've got presents to wrap and a card to finish making.

Ooooh - now I'm resisting the urge to heat up some mince pies to have with some cream! Think I'd better have an early night tonight or I'll be a stone heavier tomorrow :D

3/25 here. I'm away with my son nod a couple of hi friends at the moment skiing. I haven't done very much on the pistes, mainly spent time in the house pottering, but I have managed to not drink which has pleased me. Might go to bed early to avoid ny temptation!,
    Trying to keep in budget.

I'd stashed OH's birthday presents so he wouldn't find them and just got them out to wrap. In amongst them all I found a box of M&S liqueur cherries - the one and only mass produced chocolate I like but fortunately only available in the run up to Christmas. That's going to be severely dented before the night is out.

I lie. I also like malte$ers. Oh dear.
    Better is good enough.

    Debt-free and Proud!
3 for this evening. I know this is early but I decided a while ago to stop drinking when I'm on my own and been successful so far.

  • Honey Bear and FakePT - thank you for your kind words a couple of pages ago. The headaches could be due to dehydration so I'll try to drink more water.

Day 5 and no drink, but then again I don't drink if there's work the following day. Thursday is the day for the start of any cravings, someone in work asked if I was dieting for the New Year - I told them not to be so silly, I'll be in a bad enough mood as it is :))

    Good luck everyone!

    Evening all

The bells started ringing as I was leaving work but they were quite distant so I managed to block them out.
Busy evening since then getting the children ready to go back to school tomorrow.

    Shaggy - I'm declaring at 4/30

    Thank you

    Jo
  • 5/29 for me please Shaggy.
Had a bit of a blow today and would normally jump straight for the G&T but I stayed strong and am pleased I did. I DID finish off the last 6 days of my advent calendar though!
