Hi again everyone, I've had a little break from this thread but would like to rejoin and challenge for 30/31 for January. I completed the 1st & 2nd but yesterday had a few vinos and lets just say I want to be AF for the rest of the month for health & money reasons.
I hope you are all well and had a good Christmas & New Year.
So declaring 2/30 please.
Thank you PennySaving0 -
Morning :hello:
2 more AFDs for January.
ShaggyxWhat do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0 -

Hi Shaggy et al - it's been a long time.
I managed dry January last year up until 17th January. On. thing I do recall is just how much money I still had left by payday
Unfortunately I slipped back into the old ways - and more. By this Christmas was on 2+ bottles of wine a day.
Having said that, I did have approx 50 AF days last year - probably more than in the previous 5 years combined.
Anyway, I am going for a dry January - and hopefully beyond. I had an out patient appointment on 2nd January - apparently my LFT's are up so I really need to call it a day on the booze front. I finished of my Christmas stash on 1st January and plan to be dry for at least the next month - preferably longer.
I currently feel dreadful, flu symptoms and lacking sleep, throat chest and back all hurting like hell, head , I'm not sure if it's the lack of booze or I do have a severe cold/flu (skipped my jab this year, never again)
Anyway, can I climb back aboard and aim for 30/31 for January. Currently on 3/30 (including today)
Many thanks
Jo0
