End of the month and failed massively! 15/23 AFDs this month and next really do it for me, the dark nights etc I think, excuses I know!
I wouldn't worry too much as you do so well almost monthly without exception.
19/19 for tonight please.
I've been thinking about December and will aim for 18. Keeping it lowish to be realistic with Xmas etc.
Will be doing Dry January if anyone else wants to join me.0 -
30/30 please Shaggy :j
Can I set my Dec target at 26 please.
Going to allow myself a few days in case I feel like having a drink. Still not 100% decided whether to give up or cut down but I shall see how I feel as the month goes on.0 -
Hello,
Last night I exceeded my alcohol intake and this morning I felt lethargic and tired. Is going to take at least another day to recover fully! arggggg

Well I haven't been here for a few days and part of me feels like I've failed miserably as I'm still on 3/7 on the last day of the month, but I do feel I've drank less even though I have been drinking if that makes sense (apart from tonight when I stopped off and got a bottle of wine as it's been a manic weekend).
Friday, I bought a bottle to get me through 'movie night,' but I did share it with my brother's fianc!e whereas normally I'd drink the whole thing.
Last night, it was a thanksgiving dinner and I was given a glass (or two) of champagne, but stopped as I was driving.
Tonight, I just thought 'ah well it's Sunday and everything starts on Monday (lame I no), but at least I'm thinking about what I'm drinking now rather than just drinking, so will try again next month.Pink Sproglettes born 2008 and 2010

Epic fail at the final hurdle for me, folks.
Bump started the day at 5am when mum fell in her bedroom. I initially thought a mirror that I'd put up yesterday had fallen off the wall.
A visit to the local A&E took up the whole day, even when we jumped the queue when mum passed out from pain in the waiting room. Home at 5pm, then (grrr) had to start preparing dinner. Why wouldn't DH uses his considerable brain-power to think about peeling a few spuds??? Amazingly, he expected thanks for emptying a few bins (don't hold your breath, mate).
Fortunately I had the foresight to take sandwiches and a bottle of water or I'd have been keeling over. Lovely nurse brought some cheese and ham sandwiches and some coffee to us at 3pm.
Mum has several fractures to her humorous (not funny), poor love.
I may not have needed wine, but by gum I wanted it.What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?0 -

It sounds as though quite a few people ended the month feeling rather low, which is sad to hear. Take heart my lovelies, tomorrow is December and everything will feel perkier - I always think that there are two months that just grim and November is one of them. It's pretty much over now, hurrah. Onwards and upwards to Christmas!
30/30 please, Shaggy.Better is good enough.0
