Went for a run and managed 8k, two more than I've done in a long time. Then walked back on a slightly longer route along sand dunes for most of it.

Doctors appointment tomorrow to talk about signing me off with depression. What's the bet she disagrees?
What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?

Sorry to hear you're struggling satchmo, but well done on the run! Do you find it helps?

Well it's 30/31 for me now please. I have now actually done 33 days without alcohol as I started on 28th September. I am considering having a glass of wine tonight as we finally get the keys to our new house today and are going to have a quick look at it before moving tomorrow, then going for tea at the pub. I will see how I feel.

In a way I think October wasn't the best month for me to go alcohol free as I've had so much stress with one thing or another - moving house for one! It's been difficult to really feel the benefit of not drinking. My sleep's been all over the place and I also had a few days of not feeling well with some sort of bug. Funnily enough I feel better today than I have done in a long while! I don't feel desperate to have a drink, in fact I am almost loathe to have one. I think I am just wary of going back down that road again....

We will see I guess! Have a great weekend all! :)
  • Best wishes for your house move Chardonnay, how exciting!

I'm sorry your AF October hasn't helped you feel better Chardonnay. Is it wrong to ask how much more difficult it might have been to cope with a few hangovers tossed into the mix? Happy key ceremony!

Satchmo, take it easy when you go and see the doctor. Some of them are very good at understanding depression. Have a (((hug))).
