What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

I had to go to DPW to restart my JSA claim. I know they are bonuses on deterring claims but I was reduced to tears when clerk said I should instead try for ESA as I was clearly depressed and unfit for work.

Hi Satch - I was so sad to read that. Things are not going as planned in Southport???

Thanks for the information about alcohol free 'alcohol' Wanna Be Free. I'd be really interested in trying it so I googled it, but I can't work out where its stocked. If anyone knows, I'd appreciate the heads up.

I don't know why doctors bother with a university degree and then, what, seven years training? Apparently being a clerk qualifies people to make a clinical diagnosis. Satchmo, a formal complaint is in order - that kind of comment is seriously overstepping the mark.

Have been like a bear with a sore head today as had a rubbish night sleep, I thought I would have slept better with no alcohol but I guess my body isn't used to going to bed sober!

It took me a fortnight to get a good night's sleep when I knocked drinking on the head completely. Your body is going to find the new regime takes a little bit of getting used to; in the meantime a hot drink at bedtime would help relax you and that might help a little.
    Better is good enough.
