Don't hesitate to let me know if I've made a mistake! What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0 -

Hope everyone has a good day.0 -
Thanks for my smilie:)
Definitely no drinking here today. Well, more accurately, I'm not drinking today. My DH drinks (moderately) every night but that's his choice and it no longer bothers me.

Right, I'm cutting down on the pints. I spend far too much on alcohol, it makes me lardy and i've had enough.
My starting rules are:
1. No drinking Mon - Thurs
2. £20 limit MAXIMUM on any given "going out" night
3. Singles ONLY (no doubles, not even if they're only £1 extra)
I know it's not exactly AF but i'm giving it a go!Goal: Debt-free by 01.12.16

Welcome aboard Aegean!
I found myself thinking I could allow myself an Irish coffee after dinner on special occasions when we out. I've also noticed I'm particularly keen on the boozy (Plymouth Gin - we live next door to the distillery and the closest shop is the chocolate shop - Tia Maria, vodka and lime) chocolates from the handmade ones we treat ourselves to - every day. Hmmm. Wedge? Thin ends?
22/31 please Shaggy, and thank you so much for my smiley this morning! Love it!Better is good enough.0 -
Hey up chaps and welcome to Aegean.
Just back from anniversary weekend away. A sober weekend!
Nice to have a chat in the inn we went to and the innkeeper had given up a while back.

I'm on Belvoir (sp?) winter warmer a non-alcoholic punch which is like mulled wine, erm, without the wine.
Its delish just the thing for these cold nights. Around £2 a bottle.*
