I'll probably drop the counting thing in public when I get to 100 Days but it is helping hugely at the moment. Today is Day 88, so 87 have been achieved which I never, in a million years, would have thought possible and it is now so much easier than when I started.

If by going public you mean on here HB then you keep counting out loud for as long as you like!! The days seem to have gone by really quickly so I hope it feels the same for you.:)

Definitely no drinking planned here. Target day today!:jbut there's lots of month left so I'm hoping for a good few more to add to that.

    10 AFDs please Shaggy.

Thank you Honey Bear, Maman, Satchmo1, Shaggy for your kind words.

Calling in 7 AF for tonight.

Had a meeting I had to go and attend during the day today and came home to find OH at 3.00pm with a glass of white wine sitting comfortably looking through old photos. If nothing else I have to keep myself in check to minimise what drinking he will naturally want to do.

Autumn and I always like a late night walk to kill off some valuable drinking time.

    11/20 AFDs.

Mum's hospital appointment today saw something of a breakthrough in that an area of skin that had been treated unsuccessfully for eczema is now thought to be painful due to nerve-damage. Mum has had this pain for at least 18 months. The treatment has to be monitored by fortnightly GP appointments.

Whilst making an appointment for mum, I also made one for myself to discuss depression, check blood pressure and ask what help is available. I rarely go to the doctors, so this is a positive step for me.
What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?

What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.
