Sorry if I've misled anyone - the course is run by Liberty of Regent Street, and it's a pattern altering course. I sew a bit and commercial patterns seldom actually fit when I make them up, but altering them is a skill I've never acquired. I've noticed over the years that rewards like going out for a meal, or doing something with my Beloved, tend to be a bit of a damp squib when they actually occur. This is a technique that has always baffled me and I'd like to master it. £50 for a Saturday class is a bargain anywhere, but Liberty's is my favourite shop in the world - I don't do that 'retail therapy' nonsense - the shop looks like the V&A it's so full of beautiful things. It's also way too expensive for me to actually buy anything, so this will be a very special treat for me.

Jake2, I'm so glad you've refound your life and family. It must have taken a huge amount of persistence, determination and sheer hard work. Well done.

    10/31 please, Shaggy.
    Better is good enough.

Thanks for the info (and apologies that I was sending you on the course jake:o).

I think it sounds amazing and can't believe it's only £50, no wonder they get snapped up quickly. I absolutely love Liberty too. I rarely buy anything in there but I think the building itself is amazing and I love to have a wander round. It's the same with Harrods. I love looking at the tiles in the food hall and the Egyptian staircase. You've got me dreaming now.:)

We went to see Pride last night, great film, really enjoyed it.

Am calling in 11/31am finding it hard going tonight. I did plan big Saturday walks to keep busy and tire me out, today's wasn't as long as we thought, so now I'm sat thinking about a drink!!!

I won't coz I know it will make me double annoyed tomorrow - headache and disappointment.

I like the idea of a little treat to mark the achievement. I'm only doing October but its still a big deal. My 1st November treat will be a drink & a pizza ( I am dieting as well), but I will try and think of a little reminder I can keep.

Keep up the good work everyone
