The months just keep on passing by. I have been posting on this thread for 5 years in October! (Plenty of others have been on here longer Maman, Gien & Pricey I think)

3/20 please. It's hard to believe it's September already though. Where has the year gone?

And some good news - I start a new job on Monday, and I'm happy that it's just 16 hours a week. It'll fit around having mum living with us as she needs encouragement to venture out, whether for a walk or to be taken places in a wheelchair. It is telesales, so I'm praying that I'll be able to boost my earnings with lots of bonuses.
What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?

Congratulations on the new job, Satchmo!

    3/30 please Shaggy.

It was our 21st anniversary yesterday. I had a bottle of AF sparkling wine and that did me just fine. OH bought champagne and drank just over half the bottle, so the other half is in the fridge door with a teaspoon in it and yes, that trick does work for 24 hours, as we learned from past experience. Lovely evening watching the last three episodes ever of Breaking Bad's Season 5 and a mix and match meal from M&S which OH put together for us. Fantastic, and even at the time the icing on the cake for me was that I wasn't drunk at the end of it. And I didn't wake up with a hangover.
    Better is good enough.

What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.
