    Welcome Redemptionsong!

    10/31 for me, please Shaggy.

Having tried one brand of AF red wine, I think I'd rather stick to interesting fruit juices for the time being. It might work better with a seriously generous dash of lemon juice but I just happen to have run of that at the moment. It was so sweet.
    Better is good enough.

Glad to have you on board.:) Just post how many days AF you'd like to be for August (or say if you'd prefer to go Target Free and count each day at a time) and the lovely Shaggy will be along later to add you to the list.

Good to see you on here FE. I could never have got to target on SW without controlling the wine intake. It's a great thread.:)

6/20 AFDs tonight. Went OTT last night with the wine, due to a stressful family conference call.

Sorry to hear that. Did the brothers not offer to do their share?

    Definitely AF for me today.

    3 AFDs please Shaggy.

    Still on six :(

However, planning today-Thurs AF which should have me halfway there halfway through the month.

I can feel that I've had a heavy weekend, I feel bloated and my skin is a mess.
  • Thank you for the welcome guys - feeling a bit braver posting now - although bear with me, am new to all this!

Only had one AF day this month so far :embarasse

Can I be put down for 14 so 1/14 so far and if I don't go to the shop today and cave in and buy wine I should make it to 2/14 by bedtime

Feel I'm making progress already :rotfl:

    Thanks everyone x x

  • Hi please can I join in?

I have had my lightbulb moment and wine is one of the things that increases my grocery budget and makes me go off track with spending in general.

I am going for 14 AFD's and today is 1/14

    Thanks

Slipped a but recently (still think I'm on holiday although have been back for 2 weeks). Have had a drink for the last 4 nights - not loads but still not AF. Declaring 5/20 for tonight and will have to be very strict to reach target this month.

Welcome to all the new members of the thread :)

No, Maman: eldest brother said he'd be there for meetings with doctors and social services which is an improvement. It's infuriating that they don't ring their mother. I was admirably calm but when brother asked me to text him the postcode of the local hospital I told him to not be lazy and look it up himself, if he wanted me to be his PA it'd cost him £xxxx plus benefits.

I had a chat with mum today about whether she felt she could live on her own now (she can't, but I want her views). I had to insist that I washed her hair today, and I can't see her managing to look after herself. She admitted that she couldn't. But she couldn't face any more discussion.

7/20 AFDs for me, and a 4-and-a-bit mile run this evening. Most of it against the wind. Great stress relief.
What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?
  • Never went to shop today so am at 2/14 - also 3 no spend days in a row - virtually unheard off!!

Welcome Milliemol am new here too, good luck.

Thanks debjay - and your a quarter way to your target already so doing pretty good I reckon :)
