well done Satchmo!
I have beeen using target free as an excuse and have gone back to daily boozing so I wanted to come on here and commit to an alcohol free day today. It may not be easy as I'm home alone but I will do it. I had some bad job-related news with redundancy consultation starting today so my self pitying side wants to blott it out with wine. But all will still be there the next day, along with a hangover to make me feel worse.
I'm off back to bed now.https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6621582/ynab-robber-needs-help-to-execute-the-plan/p1

Sorry to hear about your bad news Wanna Bee Free....well done on not drinking yesterday though! You are right, alcohol is never the answer and the hangover just makes everything so much harder to cope with. Hope you're ok!0 -
Hi Chardonnay, just to say save your congratulations until after tonight! I did drink copiously last night which is why I have been awake since stupid o'clock this morning.:o

Wow wbf, that must be the earliest commitment to an AF day I've seen!
I'm definitely AF tonight. I'm tempted but determined not to have the calories. And I'm loving having got my sunny smiley so early in the month (for me:o).

Well done WBF - you got there in the end!

No more AFDs for me I'm afraid. An impromptu trip to the pub last night put paid to that. Don't you find this hot sunny weather makes you want to have a drink! I think I need to factor that in to my AFD targets at this time of year!0
