Sorry to hear that satchmo. At least it's Saturday. Take care of yourself.

I'm feeling yuk too but it's all self induced.:o Planned drinking last night but I've become such a lightweight that it's left me feeling hungover. I can't believe I used to drink this much every night of the week.

This is so true. I have to be careful when I do drink now as it doesn't take much for me to be hungover the following day. Like you said, can't believe that I was drinking most nights before my lightbulb moment.

Hurray and twice hurray, as 1) I'm feeling heaps better, and actually hungry for the first time in 7 days (unheard of, I'm a hungry Horace normally) and 2) I'm on double AFDs now with 10/20 and halfway to target.

Thanks for the well wishes, Maman - I hope you're feeling better today. I'm also getting to be a lightweight on the alcohol tolerance front. Half a bottle and I'm hungover the next day. That's surely a good thing? It's certainly an MSE thing.
What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?

Much better thanks satchmo. And I'm sure it is a good thing that we don't/can't drink so much.;)

I'm definitely going to be AF tomorrow.:D

    7/20 please Shaggy!

Was very restrained at Tom Jones concert - one glass of wine before we went out, a glass of Pimms and then we shared a jug between 5 of us, so two small glasses out of that, then we bought bottles of water and stuck to that! :A

Saturday night was rather more messy, as expected but I still (eventually :o) found the stop button and went on to water.

Back on the wagon yesterday with another AFD and planning on not drinking again until Friday.

Have a good Monday all! :)

    Morning all,

Well done to all those that managed AF days over the weekend - I didn't :o - although like many others on here I am definitely drinking less when I do drink.

Definitely will be AF tonight and aiming to go right through to Friday this week  .

So I am declaring early on 5/12 please shaggy.

Have a great week everyone :)

    Afternoon :hello:

    2 more AFDs.

I'm starting to pack for our holidays which starts Sunday. I've been able to put lots of lovely summer clothes in my case which I couldn't wear last year. Such a great feeling. When I get back from my hols going to start a new diet and see if i can lose a bit more :-)

What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

Have a great holiday shaggy. :)

If it's OK with you, we'll keep posting our AFDs while you're away.

Great news about fitting into your summer clothes.:D

    6 AFDs please.

I'm hoping to do the full SNC this week too.
