Cheers, so long as I finish it, I'll be happy :)
  • Hi. Please can I join....well that should be rejoin as I have been here before. After another night out where I have gone completely over the top I have decided enough is enough. I can easily go all week without a drink but come the weekend I just go over the top. I binge drink. Last night I went out with hubby, had a lovely meal, drank way too much wine. Ended up very drunk, had blazing row with hubby, now I have the mother of all hangovers and wish so much I could turn the clock back. I feel such a Loser right now. I have so much going for me yet I am at risk of losing it all if I dont change my ways....so here I am. All tips/advice greatly received. Xx

    Hi
Boy do I know what you!re talking about. I find it really hard at the weekend too. I drank Thursday, Friday and Saturday this week!

    6/14 please

Not great I know but I am getting better. Been to a festival in kent this weekend. I usually get drunk and have an horrendous hangover but this year I managed to drink 4 pints only between midday and midnight. No hangover and had a good sleep. In a hotel bed! Not a tent. Too old to party and sleep rough. It's one or the other these days!

Anyway, I am hoping to stay AF until Friday this week but I will see how stressed I am by Thursday.

    Kind regards
    Slowdown :)

:T brilliant achievement barny. and god luck on improving general fitness. AF has to help.

shelly, I've found that my tolerance level has dropped now that I don't drink so often. So even on the nights I drink I don't have as much as I would have had before.

Trying to get a few more in this week.

    4AFDs please Shaggy.

Wow, a 10k straight off is impressive - well done Barny!!

Shelly, sorry to hear about your drunken row - hope you find the thread helpful - I know I do! No more AF days to report but I'm planning at least 3 in a row from tonight.

What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.
