What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

No more AFDs to report in April I'm afraid.
So I think I will be realistic and set my target for 16 again for May.

Thank You maman - I'm really motivated at the moment. I am going to the Atlantic Coast in France and I really want to look nice in my photos this year and to be able to wear nice clothes :) With all the stress of the last few years the pounds have just crept up on me :o Feel better already...

There are some lovely places along that coast. I've done bits of Brittany, La Rochelle, Sables d'Olonne, Mimizan and Biarritz all lovely! Hope you really enjoy it when the time comes.
    Thanks for the welcomes:)

Just had a salad and aiming for an early night with no alcohol.
Hopefully after a few restful nights and self control I might be able to focus on getting my affairs in order.

Really want to pull myself out of this but early days and small steps. So difficult when I've always rose to a challenge

Hope everyone has a good evening and good luck to the May challenge x

When you were lurking you may have noticed that I joined this thread for the weightloss.:o Saving money is an added bonus!;)
I wanted to ramble on about rambling.
    :rotfl:

    Loving it!

I know exactly how everyone feels about rewarding themselves with wine after a stressful day. It's great if you can resist and feel smug about clocking up an AF day. And I find that I feel much happier and more in control when my drinking days are planned rather than the s*d it variety.

I had rather too much last night. Having some was planned but having too much wasn't! Felt a bit hungover this morning so serve me right!

I'm definitely not drinking tonight so

1 AFD for May please Shaggy.

    1/16 for me please Shaggy.

WBF yes I appreciated your post about rambling. Also I'm with those who drink at the end of a stressful day and to escape feelings when they are too much. I think we know it is no good in the long term but very tempting in the short term. I have resisted coming on here and rambling when I'm struggling. Perhaps I should and maybe it will help me get a better total. My best friend passed away last year and I don't really have anyone I confide in anymore.

I'm away now for the next 3 days visiting family and friends. Just wondering could I make at least one of those days AF? We'll see.

Have a great bank holiday weekend everyone.
