Hi everyone,
I've tried and failed a few times to do this challenge. I really want to stop for good. So I'm giving it another go.
1/30please Shaggy.Do I really need it? Probably not.:A0 -
Good luck Smiley 77! We're rooting for you all the way.
2/31 please, Shaggy.Better is good enough.0 -
Lots of very interesting posts on here over the last two weeks. Somehow I managed to delete my subscription to the thread. Probably because I am so in denial about my pathetic total which is is up to 3/TF this month. Being target free is really not helpful to me.
Looking at my yearly target I need 18 days each month for the rest of the year. Which would be a significant personal best for me since the 1990's. So rather than feel bad about missing my 2017 target I propose to step up and actually make this happen instead.
Shaggy please put me down for 1/18 as I'm declaring early for today. AFDs - gotta catch em all.I am also going to post on here every day in the rest of July even if I'm not AF.
Time to try something different.
Happy sunny Sunday folks! Good luck Smiley!0 -
Just checking in.
I finished July on 16/17. I did drink Friday in the end.
However despite 2 social events back to back on Saturday eve I remained AF. So 1/17 for July please.
There is temptation though,an open bottle of wine in my fridge with only 1 glass out of it. It's going to be winking at me. Not sure what to do with it. Will it keep if I can ignore it till next Friday?Live for the moment and plan for the future0 -
Morning all, 2/21 for me please.
CuppaTea, just a thought, could you eliminate temptation by freezing the wine to use for future cooking purposes? Always useful, can be thawed and then refrozen and it's no temptation to drink it once it's been frozen because it doesn't taste as good.0 -

Hey Honey Bear, sounds good to me0 -
Good afternoon,
Nearly broken the back of the weekend, first for such a long time. 1 AFD for last night Shaggy.
Thanks for keeping score Shaggy, and although I haven't read through the thread recently just wanted to thank all of you for your ongoing support. I THINK I CAN NOW SAY I AM IN CONTROL!
Arkers x0 -
Well done Arkers, glad you're feeling positive! Good luck to you smiley_77.
I haven't been AF yesterday or today, but think I should post a bit more often even when drinking, so here I am. I had a cider and a glass of wine last night, woke up hangover free which is the most important thing. Will probably do the same this evening, (I'm half way down the cider). I think I seem to be grasping drinking in moderation now, I really suprised myself at Glastonbury.0
