Calling early with 8/18 please Shaggy :D

My new found abstinence is due to a shock when I got on the scales and a horrid realisation that almost all of this weight is wine related as my diet is quite good!

Plus, the sun coming out has boosted my mood and my enthusiasm.
  • 8/15please. No chance to get back on until next week as off to Keswick with dh for a few days and will not be AF. Good luck everyone!

I'm just cutting down and I noticed today that I've lost an inch from my girth!

Rock 'n' rolling with 9/18 please Shaggy :D

4 days into new diet and no booze and I genuinely feel like a new woman! Considering my usual drinking habits, I am thrilled to have managed 4 in a row. It might not sound like much to some but I have only manged more than 2 nights in a row twice in the last 2.5+ years  Once being 5 days in a row and the other time was just 2 days in a row.
  • 12 AF for me tonight.

    Morning :hello:

3 more AFDs. Thursday, Friday & Saturday. I was angelic last night as we went for a curry - no alcohol, just chicken tikka and a bit of aloo gobi. :A I would usually have a big curry plus a load of nan bread plus drinks!

Fingers crossed that the scales will be kind to me 'cos I'm sure trying...

What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.
