Hurrah! I'm back in the game, thanks Shaggy!

Wasn't AF last night but tried to drink less - I would have failed but for the determination of my lovely wife! I'm trying to find my "tipping point" meaning how many glasses I can drink before going, "Whey, hey - let's get another bottle!"

Anyway, calling in what is, for me, super early as I am NOT drinking today (hear that amygdala!). So 4/14 please Shaggy!

Wow - what a thought provoking sentence... This is absolutely what I need to do! I have recently thought, after 2 glasses of wine, I could stop now but I almost feel obligated to finish the bottle and [STRIKE]sometimes[/STRIKE] often, that leads to opening bottle number 2  If I just stopped when I get that feeling... Shaggy's STOP button... then I would be drinking moderately! Light bulb moment!!! Thank you :)

No AF for me yesterday but I have come to a realisation that I seem to have finally found a comfortable relationship with alcohol. I fancied a glass of wine last night and that is all I had, likewise at the weekend, I shared a bottle of wine on both Saturday & Sunday with my OH and stopped once it was finished - before I would have said 'let's open another bottle' or I would have gone on to cider .

I do intend being AF tonight but will wait until tomorrow morning to declare ;)

Have a great day everyone :)

Congratulations :j What a fabulous realisation and achievement :T

I am calling early with another AFD so 6/18 for me please :)

Thanks Fruball, it has taken me a long while to get to this stage and I am sure it will come to you in time - in the meantime Shaggy's STOP button can be very useful :D

Also, just wanted to say 'Happy Birthday' to Maman - have a great one and enjoy your Indian tonight :j
  • Can you do me a favour please shaggy? I have decided to go TF this month due to a number of work dos I would like to have a glass of wine at.
Not giving up on the challenge but just want to make this an ongoing change in how I drink now

So on that note I am now on 5 for March so far

    Thanks :)
