2 more AFDs for Monday & Tuesday.
ShaggyxWhat do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0 -
Oh dear, oh dear! I was so shame-faced about my miserable capitulation in February, that I haven't got back onto the thread until now, and, naturally enough, Shaggy has removed me from the challenge board. So, please, please Shaggy will you put me back on for March with a target of 14 and, as of tonight, I can claim a score of 3/14? Thanks.
No worries. Good LuckWhat do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0 -

My job isn't too demanding and I only work part time (I'm 60) but the biggest problem I'm experiencing now is lack of sleep, months and months of it. I fall asleep easily enough (even manage to read for half an hour before it) but probably only average out about 4/5 hours at most. I know most of your replies will point to the obvious, but any advice gratefully received.
No real advice about the sleep problems butWhat do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0 -

Morning all
Not been AF last couple of days but the amount I have had is reduced. One bottle of wine has done me two days and there is still some left !
I always wondered what people meant when they said "leftover wine"
Anyway I'm calling it early today as doing a 12 hour night shift tonight
So today is 5AF days so far this month. I've already beat last months total :T but off to Spain next week for a few daysso could do with a couple more before I go
As of 24th August 2016 total money owed was
£15,708 :eek:0 -
Hurrah! I'm back in the game, thanks Shaggy!
Wasn't AF last night but tried to drink less - I would have failed but for the determination of my lovely wife! I'm trying to find my "tipping point" meaning how many glasses I can drink before going, "Whey, hey - let's get another bottle!"
Anyway, calling in what is, for me, super early as I am NOT drinking today (hear that amygdala!). So 4/14 please Shaggy!0 -
No AF for me yesterday but I have come to a realisation that I seem to have finally found a comfortable relationship with alcohol. I fancied a glass of wine last night and that is all I had, likewise at the weekend, I shared a bottle of wine on both Saturday & Sunday with my OH and stopped once it was finished - before I would have said 'let's open another bottle' or I would have gone on to cider .
I do intend being AF tonight but will wait until tomorrow morning to declare
Have a great day everyone0 -
Calling in early 9/22 please Shaggy.0
