Scatterbrain, so sorry to hear about your health problems and I hope you make a quick recovery.0

Jo , at least you've had a diagnosis and let's hope on the mend:money: I will never be rich but I'm happy :rotfl:0

scatterbrain109 wrote: »Good morning everyone, I haven't been here since late January. At that point I had just been discharged from hospital having tested in conclusively for sub arachnoid haemorrhage.
I went to my GP on Monday 30th and she sent me straight back to the GP referral unit at the hospital.
While there I had a seizure and my 8 day old headache was finally taken seriously.
After several days of prodding, poking and scanning I was finally diagnosed with lateral venous-sinus thrombosis - basically blood clots in my brain.
I am now home on morphine and warfarin both of which are incompatible with alcohol.
Shaggydoo, can you close me off on January with 30 days please and 8/28 for February.
I'm on warfarin for at least 2 years so looks like I will be off the sauce for a while.
I'll go back several pages and see what I have missed since 29th.
Jo xx
Oh My! That's tough! What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0 -

Goodness Scatterbrain, what an awful time you've had recently
Hoping the meds keep everything under control x
I had a bottle of wine spread over three days Sat-Monday, which I enjoyed, but AT since and will be tonight as DH is away in Birmingham until tomorrow, so calling an early 6/TF
I have, however, been gorging on sugar with 3 chocolate chip brioche, two hot cross buns and a Twix being stuffed this morning.
I'd go as far to say my sugar consumption is at a very high level and is grabbing a firm hold of me. I MUST stop snacking and eating junk...0 -
Hope you're soon sorted Scatterbrain. Good reason to not drink as well0
-
Hope you are feeling better soon Scatterbrain - take care of yourself0

Thanks for the supportive posts. Sorry to hear about your health probs, Scatterbrain.
I'm still riding those habit urges. So 8/28 still for Feb.'...it is only kindness that makes sense anymore ' Naomi Shihab Nye0
