Oh dear me ,,, I've been lurking for a while now,,
I'm a drinker , a binge drinker, I normally do a bottle of wine a night , sometimes 2 at weekends :eek:
I used to be a smoker and a heavy one at that, gave up about 6 years ago and will never so much as have a puff again!
So back to the booze,,, I'm a real MSE ,, I like , well love the finer things in life , but never pay full price , and save money in tins and so forth , so firstly I find it odd ( even to me ) that I will always find the money to buy wine ,, my goodness I dread to think how much I waste
I do however get discount on it as a family member works for large store chain and is able to give a discount to someone else !
Secondly , why do I do it ?
Depression ,, makes it worse ? Habit ? Boredom ?
Funny if I have a AFD on a Monday I can normally do so until Thursday , I try my upmost to have 2 or 3 AFD a week , I've always kept a littl diary ,,sadly I've only managed 2 this month, and I'm full of cold so I can't taste or smell so still wonder why ?
I'm going to sign off now as don't want to bore you all , I will write more later, as I feel this may help me ,,, I really hope so !:money: I will never be rich but I'm happy :rotfl:0 -

The half bottle of wine was winking at me last night. I succumbed. �� back on it tonight though.
Well done to all those who are on track. Ive slipped a bit this week but i keep reminding myself it doesnt have to be all or nothing, there is an in between.Live for the moment and plan for the future0 -

Been doing lots of walking since Christmas - a couple of 15-20 mins sessions when at work and longer walks at weekends - and no, I'm not now 600 miles away from where I started!
regular walking seems to have helped the dreaded BD, quality of sleep is starting to improve and I like to think it's a combo of the walking and the cutting down on alcohol.
also noticed that when I do have a glass or two, it is only a glass or two and I enjoy it more, rather than glugging it down.
blimey, that's the most I think I've 'said' on the boards, I normally just lurk, post and run :rotfl:

Wow loveasale, this sounds like me, especially the depression, its a nasty bu&&ar
just take baby steps, pace things to suit you and don't be afraid to ask for help/advice either on here or in real life.
