1/25 for me this evening.
afoolwithmoney: We did indeed.
Sorry I will not be able to join you at the finishing post come the end of March. 2018 totals:
Savings £11,200
Mortgage Overpayments £5,5000 -
I'm getting overweight too MAman, and what's killing me is that I look just like my Mum looked at my age - thing is, I remember her as being old and out of shape and frumpy (the cruel eyes of youth) and I don't want to be or fell like that.
So, maybe now that the alcohol is more under control (I won't say under control because that would be tempting fate) I need to face up to shifting some fat.
I kind of start half heartedly and then just lapse back into eating total and utter carp. I have started running again but really I need to be eating much healthier food to make a difference. I know what I should and shouldn't be eating but just cannot get it together to be bothered (that sound bad now I've written it).
I'm 45 in a week's time and I just keep hearing 'fat, fair, forty'I can identify with that.
I joined the thread originally as I had put on weight and hated myself for being fat! I knew I'd never manage to lose the weight and keep drinking the bottle+ a day that I was getting through. So, first, I controlled the alcohol intake then I moved on to healthier eating. Result, I lost all the excess weight and have felt so much better about myself ever since. Smug, moi??:DTrying to keep in budget.

March Target 20 AF days.
Have quite a few functions planned plus 6 days in USA plus there is my ongoing disintegrating relationship to contend with s not as high a target as I've previously set.
Hope you are all well and ready for the week.

Hi Shaggy, can I change my target to 30 days please.
I'm going to give up drink for lent but will start from today. I keep thinking up excuses why I don't have to give it up but is that not a sign that I really should...
Think that's a really good idea, can I join you?
I can also think of lots of reasons why I shouldn't give up for Lent, but there's no time like the present to rest the old liver! I started yesterday too so would actually be clocking up 6 weeks in total.0 -
1/22 please Shaggy.0
