No. When I first started to sit down to watch TV without chocolate I used to think about it - now chocolate doesn't cross my mind. About 2 years ago I gave up biscuits - never think about them either!
Must get back into an exercising habit!
Ironically I think cutting something out, challenging though it is in the early stages if it's an ingrained habit (like booze or, as it turns out, biscuits or chocolate), is much more straightforward than putting something in, like exercise. I think it's to do with the fact that we seem to programmed as humans not to recognise an absence, whereas we have to actually start doing the exercise so we're forced to think about it.
And we all know that exercise is for people who have a thing for pain.
Lost quite a bit of weight last week, after all. I may be able to wear the fabby dress I bought when I was at my slimmest for a wedding this weekend. It now depends on the weather because it's sleeveless and I don't have a jacket to go with it.
19/30 please, Shaggy.Better is good enough.0 -
No more AFDs for me from Fri-Sun, but I wasn't planning any and I did cut back, having one spirit and one large glass of wine each night whereas I previously would have had two glasses of wine. Slimming World and keeping a food diary is helping in that respect. Hoping to have 4 consecutive days AF now......fingers crossed! What goes around comes around.....I hope!0

Ashamed to say I only managed AF Monday last week. This was because of family birthdays and eating out. Drinking was moderate though.
This week promises to be a little better so getting of to a start with AF today.

Don't hesitate to let me know if I've made a mistake! What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0 -
Declaring early for tonight 19/30, really happy about that but I am all or nothing, find it difficult to be moderate so best if I don't start then I don't have to stop!!!!
Tried Echo Falls AF wine from Sainsburys, £3.99, acceptable alternative but at a £1 more expensive than the Sainsburys own brand not really worth it. Also tries Aldi Strawberry and mint sparkling water, drank that in a wine glass and pretended it was Rose, not bad at all. Also drinking Becks Blue in a nice beer glass so trying to convince myself I'm not doing without. Sleeping really well and generally feeling much more with it so hoping to reach target for September and possibly onto October as well.DF by Christmas 2014 #78 £18,964.15/£15,000
