Right you lovely lot. Stop with the downers, 'cos you're all wunnerful peeps.

Cuppa Tea - sorry to hear you're feeling down and rude raspberries to people making you feel disliked. We loves ya :kisses:

ManPants - stay strong man. you can do this. You've beaten bulimia and are an ex-smoker. You have the strength and courage needed to succeed. You just need to believe!

New Me - fantastic weight loss hun. Well done :T My AF drink of choice is fiery ginger beer (they do diet versions) as its got enough punch to take the placeof alcohol, in my view. I know it's not everyone's favourite though...

Dansmam - good job with the soda! Damn fine try girl.

Satchmo - nowt wrong with a peanut butter sarnie (as long as it's crunchy - smooth variety is far too claggy round the choppers IMHO). Oh, and crusty white bread, right?

    Lotstogain - regroup, reset and retry with us, sweet pea. We are here to support you on this difficult journey. {{{Hugs}}}

Debjay - as you were ;) Skool night's is a great way of keeping AF. Makes note....

I've run out of page, so sorry if I've missed anyone...Barney - you're doing great x

Honey Bear, where are you???? You're much better at this than me! :rotfl:

Me? Calling in early...5/31 for me please Shaggy x

Awww Dizzy, what a great post. Made me smile. And well done on the Ginger beer.

Failure of the week award winner here.....I did so well last week with 5 consecutive AF days (Sun-Thur). Start off well on Monday then had a carp day at work Tue and had a couple of drinks. Didn't stop there though, oh no, I then went on to have a drink weds night and another couple last night, so m total for the month is still at 1/18.

We've got a family meal on sat night and I am seriously thinking of driving as it will stop me drinking.

......but you did say "a couple" not a bucketful and that in itself is great. Today is a new day. Onwards & upwards for us all.
As you know, I am a big fan of using the car to avoid drinking. Hope it all went well.

My meds have arrived from the U.S so calling in early for tonight 4 AF
Lots to do. Have a potential tenant coming to view our house tomorrow and I'm emptying the attic out in preparation for moving next month.

Hugs all & have a nice sunday.

Ah well...I cracked... I had a glass of cider at the pub with lunch and a little taster of my raspberry vodka last night. It is now all gone and I can truthfully say that this time it wasn't me! DH and DSS polished 90% of it off.

I feel a little bleary-eyed this morning, but that's all, so very pleased to have got away so lightly.

Ginger beer is nice isn't it New Me? I've got some in, but was persuaded by DH to indulge yesterday. Naughty man!

I'm still on 6/31 Shaggy. Thanks for counting x

    Morning all

Hope everyone had a good weekend?

No AFD's over the weekend but I hadn't planned to ;)

Have never tried ginger beer - mainly because I hated anything 'ginger-flavoured' when I was young and it has stuck in my mind that I don't like it - will be brave and give it a go :p

Will definitely be AF tonight so declaring early on 5/15 please Shaggy

    Morning All,

Ginger Beer seems to be the new black!
Everyone is sampling it. Must give it a try myself. Tried Pink Rose Lemonade yesterday which I have no doubt was calorific but tasted amazing. No doubt even better with some of DizzyImps' Raspberry Vodka but I guess I mustn't think like that. Must concentrate on the day long hangover I'd have and the chaos I'd create however civilised Rose Lemonade & Raspberry Vodka may begin.

On the meds so any potential wavering doesn't even happen. Calling in for tonight 5 AF.
