What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

Hi please may I join this month? I follow this thread and it's great to see people doing really well and supporting each other in difficult times. I generally only drink at weekends but sometimes I have too much so I want to cut down. I have done whole months/6 weeks AF without any bother, but don't seem to have the elusive "stop" button when I do have a drink.
This month I would like a target of 20 AF days
And just to bely my statement above, I did have a drink (3) when out with my friend last night, unusual midweek, so far it is 1/20
I hope everyone has a great month and thank you to Shaggy for updating. X

Completely AF this month so far taking me to 3/28 AF

Was designated driver again last night whilst everyone else around me got fairly intoxicated and what a boring lot they were. I actually am beginning to think that the car is my new best friend in my quest for sobriety. There were quite a few comments about me not drinking and instead driving as its obviously becoming apparent that i'm not drinking very often. This obviously is making people uncomfortable. I explained it away that one of us has to drive home and as I am the one that gets day long hangovers I may as well be the one that doesn't drink as my body can't tolerate it.

    Its Saturday!!!!!!!!! :j
