    14/20 for tonight please Shaggy.

Went to SW last night and after just five weeks I've lost a stone in weight, the main reason is not drinking empty calories and then raiding fridge after all will power has gone!!!
Feel great and just off shopping to treat myself to something new.

Another AFD today. needed a clear head to sort out some flood claim items, so had a huge cup of Earl Grey tea....hmmm...might be getting up in the night... I think that makes my running total 13/28

    Hi all
Waking up on again with no regrets and no hangover :) After 72 hours I am definitely sleeping better. It was common for me to wake up at 3/4 am with real dread thoughts which hasn't happened for 3 nights although I am still having to wake up to go to the loo after all the water Im drinking!

Last night was a danger point for me I want to the theatre and the bar was calling me loudly before the show and in the interval but I managed to ignore it and sank a litre of water and a packet of revels instead lol.

May have a drink tonight when I get home as my friend usually asks me round when I get back from work but it won't be till late and at worse will be 1 or 2 glasses of wine . Part of me is hoping I won't but I am not going to beat myself up if I feel like it.

So thats me on 3 now

That's great cathy. I've only had chocolate once this week so far and I'm going to try not to have any tonight. You're inspiring me to have healthier evenings.:)

Definitely AF tonight. I'm pleased with this as I'll have managed 4 in a row to make up for the one, measly AF day last week and today is smiley day so all good!:D

Hope you're OK shaggy:wave:not seen you around.

    7 AFDs please.

    Hello,

Well, I did drink last night but stuck resolutely to just vodka & soda avoiding the bottles of wine that were flying around. That is until about 10pm when I caved in and had wine with everyone else. And rather a lot of it. Not surprisingly, today I am feeling rubbish. I also came home with a girls phone number in my pocket! Still got it, never lost it!:j:rotfl: I think if "Jo" had been "Joe" it wouldn't have been seen as quite so amusing & I'd have been in the doghouse.

Anyway, had a great night catching up with my old colleagues but tonight I am looking forward to not drinking again.

Hope you are all well. Thank you all for your words of encouragement. At some point today I can look forward to catching up on the last episode of "Marcella".

Oh good, maman, I'm glad if it helps someone else in even the teeny tiniest of ways :) I must admit I weighed myself this morning and weigh about the same as I did two months ago when I last looked at the scales, so the treat-free days and AFDs aren't leading to any weight loss, but at least I haven't gained. It's amazing you have been so resolute with the choccy, btw - on my "off" days I am always incredibly tempted by chocolate!
