What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

I wish Piggles and Stupotstu would get in touch :( Bit worried about both of them.

    Hello

Sorry, I've been rubbish. And drinking heavily.
No actual calamities though. Endless day long hangovers then it gets to 6pm and I start again.

Clear night last night taking me to 3/30 AF so far. I intend to stay AF tonight as well.

Went out to dinner last night wearing a very fitted, unforgiving Dolce & Gabbana shirt which normally fits me perfectly. It felt bordering on tight across my stomach. All these endless hangovers, missed gym days then excessive boozing is playing havoc with my body. If nothing else, my body dysmorphia took an upsurge and encouraged me to avoid the Sancerre when it was ordered. ha ha Nuts!!

Thank you CathyBird for your well wishes.

stupotstu, great to hear from you :) good to hear there were no actual calamities in your absence :) it's always good to hear from you, wish you were here more often! Or to put it another way, it's always a worry when people seem to vanish.

Thanks cathybird, very kind of you :)

I've been struggling, and drank up to my previous daily levels. The fleas are still here, resisting the treatment so it's got to be done again and I have to rearrange everything and get it out the way for about the 6th time since I moved here :(

I'm fed up with it all now. But I did manage to squeeze in a few AFDs. I had two in a row this week but got scared I wouldn't sleep so started again. My muscles get really agitated and jerky at night when I don't drink for more than a day.

But the good news is a) I get drunk if I have too much, rather than being on a maintenance dose all the time like I used to where you don't feel drunk despite drinking a lot, and b) I get hangovers now when I never used to get those either having alcohol in my system all the time. So my being is reacting to it now, which must mean some improvement. I'm definitely in a better position than I used to be :) even though it's really difficult at the moment.

I watched the louis theroux programme and they mentioned something I've said here which is when alcohol is part of your identity if you start very young. The french lady said removing alcohol is like taking the roots from a tree, and I understand that way of thinking. The programme did worry me quite a bit, and health was one of my reasons for trying to stop/slow down.

Good to see stupotstu as well. Hang in there :)

9/12 AFD please shaggy, and can I have an easier 10 for May please? Thanks! :)

Piggles, good to hear from you - sorry to hear you are struggling though - hope the fleas disappear for good with this round of treatment, and that things get easier for you soon.
