    Morning all,

Back to normal today which is good and bad. DS2 is back to school, he has actually got out of bed which is a good sign :/
DH is off to work today too, so back to normal routine of cleaning etc and a bit of space for me.
I'm not back at work till tomorrow so shall have to decide whether I am going to do something or just enjoy the peace and pottering.

My Yoga teacher is back from maternity leave tonight so I shall start going to her classes again as I have missed her style. I like going but struggle with going out in the evenings especially in the cold.

    Glitterkitty - have a fab birthday :)

    TTFTM - Good Luck!

Julie - hope all goes well :)

Esmf - That's quite a challenge! Go for it!

    Have a happy Monday :)

    Morning.
Good luck with the new job TTFTM
Good luck with the training ESM
HESTER - hope work isn't too awful.
    JULIE - thinking of you.
Hugs to all who are poorly or low.
Youngest back to school today, eldest tomorrow. Have finally coaxed youngest out of bed, whist running a quick bath for myself, picking up after OH and gulping down a coffee.
After school run I'll brave the rain to take the dog out, strip the beds and iron - again!
Confession time - I've really been struggling, mood wise, since before XMAS and the black cloud (I refuse to call it a black dog, 'cos I LIKE dogs)
has well and truly descended these past couple of days, so I'm battling on but feeling like I'm doing everything with a huge weight on my shoulders.
In which case I'd best toddle off and make youngest's lunch before bringing the thread down!
Best wishes to all for the day ahead xx

TTFTM good luck for today xx

Julie hope all goes well xx

    yvieblue hugs to you xx

Not raining here yet but due for more later, spent yesterday putting primer on the beautiful (but huge) wardrobes that OH built they really are lovely with so much space, I need to find the right colour now for the top coat I am thinking a very pale grey or blue, the insides will be cabbage white.

OH back at work today and dd at work I have the day off, dd's boyf stayed here last night and its still at that awkward stage where I don't know him well enough to be comfortable, he sleeps on the sofa so is sitting opposite me now, and we are making attempts at conversation !

Pork chops for dinner with mash and veg. I am going to ask my mum for dinner tomorrow, I spoke to her yesterday and she admitted that she is really struggling with dad not being there, she said that she misses him so much and she just wants to be with him, bless her.

Right better get on have good days all xx

Had feedback from the EA,the couple liked our house, asked if we would consider renting for a quick move, but they havent sold their own .

Thai chicken curry for tea,and a bit of tidying so I can keep up with the housework, trying to be more organised :o

Time for dogwalking, not looking forward to wading through mud much-will have to choose my route carefully but walking round the streets just doesnt cut it with the pup :D she likes a good free run.

glitterkitty, happy birthday :bdaycake:hope you enjoy your day x
Julie, hope your operation goes well x
redruby, i know what you mean about awkward conversations. That's how it is with dd bf. Can't even say it's because she hasn't been with him for long, it will be two years next month! He probably just doesn't like us.
No plans to go out today because of the rain. I have got a couple of loads of washing to do, so it will go on the airer.
    Stir fry for tea tonight.
I hope everyone has a good day and hugs to those who need them.

    Morning all,

Home alone today as DH has gone back to work for a few days. He had a phone call late Friday and has his electrophysiology test on Wednesday: they will be giving his heart electric shocks to decide if he needs a pacemaker or a defibrillator. One step closer to resolution of his heart problem - it's taken 6 months to get this far.

WM is on - it'll be busy today whilst I iron again.

Potato bake with the rest of last night's gammon for dinner. I must make up some more mince but without porridge in it as my friend is eating with us tomorrow and she is gluten intolerant. She works outdoors so something warm and hearty is needed and so we chose cottage pie.

Grey, wet and blowy here - we're braced for a lot more and worse.

    Thinking of Hilstep and Julie

Have a good day, stay warm and safe x

    good morning everyone.

The first 'normal' Monday of the year.

I've got lots to do, my normal housework, eBay parcel posting, tidying cupboards (I'm moving things around so everything is stored more efficiently) and I'm selling our old LP's this year, so lots of eBay photography.

I'm going to do what needs to be done over the next two days - I think it's too much to do today.

I'm also upping the ante on old styling this year. I'm determined to lower expenditure, ahead of early retirement next year.

One of my resolutions is to focus on what I'm doing during the day and not get distracted by the Internet..... So I'd better press on:rotfl:

Hope everyone has a good day, and all the best to the poorlies and hospital people

    Hi Guys,
    I'm back again:j
Didn't have any ops after all, and I have never felt better!Have had blood and urine tests, and I have a CT scan again on15th January. I am much more positive now, and actually didn't mind when OH left yesterday. Only problem is no one to make me a cup of tea when I wake up:rotfl:

Let's hope 2014 is better! We had a good Christmas and Boxing day.New Year was okay too.

    :bdaycake:to glitterkitty

I have even started cooking again!

Hope everyone is okay, and I would like to thank you all for the support you gave me last year.:T
