Hello all. Just checking back in again in preparation for Thursday. Natty/Dusty thanks for the lists. I have been reading just not flying.
Ionafan, count me in for York and Birmingham please.
I'll go back to lurking and list making now so I can hit the ground running on Thursday. I dread to think what the house will be like with me having been in here for a monthGoals - Weight loss 6/26lb at 22nd Jan 18Mmmm. 26lb at 1/7/18. Oops:o0 -

When he first left school and my CB stopped (when he was 18) I charged him the £15 per week I was loosing. I upped it in September when he came back from Camp America.
Mrs C - are you a secondary Governor? If so can I email you or message you on FB (I'm TSW) about something I need to discuss - my inbox on here is full but I will get to that.
For his contribution DS1 has internet and landline access. I buy food and some drinks (usually juice, dilute and bottled water - he has to use a sports cap for work), as well as toothpaste/bubble bath/shampoo. On work days he usually has porridge, takes a meal to work and has something when he comes in. It's more varied on days off. He had thought about moving out, but realised that he'd be left with very little disposable income unless he finds someone to share with. He's become easier to live with and I'm happy to have him here for a while longer. And where else would I find someone to babysit on occasional Saturdays between 11pm and 1am, when I meet OH for a drink.
Please feel free to message me, Dusty. I'm not a governor, but may someone who knows the answer, if I don't.
How awful to have such sad news twice in only a few months. I know how much it can affect a school and can't begin to imagine what it must be like for the family.
Beautiful photo, bossy.
I took all decorations down yesterday and they're now boxed up, ready for DS1 to store them in the loft (his bedroom). It's a pain, because he has to move his bed to get access to the storage area.
Bathroom as yet untouched and I'm struggling with my course, so I'll have another look after tea, when I've dealt with all the e-mails I need to send. I'm sure the clean and clear dots will join up eventually...0 -
Dusty sorry to hear tragic news.
I had to give my mum £50 per week from the age of 16, so I moved out!! but that was several years ago, I got a job in a hotel where accommodation and food was free, and they paid for me to go to college once a week.
OH now collected from airport, just asked me when I was going shopping and what was I cooking for 'his' dinner.................I've pointed out, new year and all that, and I am NOT coming home every night to cook any more, he wants food, he goes shopping, if he doesn't like what is in the freezer, he cooks it, and cleans up...............................he has now gone shopping! I think my guag, has just spoken...............
I have hoovered, and been at my other job all day......Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

Welcome to all new members joining us and old faces alike returning including Scottish Lassy, Sag27 and Yorkshire Lass. Hugs to Frodd, I hope your GP can help. Glad your DD had a great day Bossy and sorry to hear the sad news Dusty.
I cannot make a meet in either York or Birmingham as a bit far for me but have a fantastic time everyone, hopefully this year I will be into this Flyladying lark enough to attend a meet
Today I've made breakfast, lunch and dinner from stores, got some snacks for tonight too (DH on nights so I will be up working until about 2am). Have managed a little flying, mainly animal related. One of our cats got to the budgies today, luckily she only managed to pull a feather that isn't going to harm the budgie, still worrying and I've now taken a few more measures to make sure I can hear if the cat has somehow managed to sneak up near the budgies. Bloody animals - I am NOT allowing my DH anymore pets this year. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Dusty kitten That is so very sad.
First day back today which was a bit of a struggle for some students, so I had nearly lost my voice by the end of the day.
Have just taken DS2 to station for train back to uni.:(. So, a lot of things decluttered from house along with him. Three months till Easter, unless we take a sneaky weekend to visit.
I cannot promise to do bathroom tonight, completely shattered, and have a few things to prepare for tomorrow. It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0 -
The date's in my diary.
So nice of you to remember my birthday!
Have a fab time ladies. DH is taking me out for Sunday lunch with our [STRIKE]ravenous beasts[/STRIKE] kids.
DD1 and her BF pay £300. They buy the majority of their own food and eat with us twice a week. They use some of the 8 pints of milk we get through day!
DS1 will soon be told to contribute £50 p/w. He gets paid weekly in his job at the sorting office. He's being allowed a 3 month free ride before he starts paying.
Bathrooms gleaming. Both HHC's were completed and I have done 2 loads of washing. DD1's BF cleaned the kitchen. He is a saint.
PS3 confiscated until DS1 starts pulling his weight around the house.
Dusty that's terrible news. So sorry.0 -
Emails reduced and [STRIKE]desk[/STRIKE] table gleaming! Will iron while watching a film at 8pm, so aside from S&S in the kitchen, that's me done.
eta: Had to make my 'table' gleam as I can't get in my office, let alone see the desk. Perhaps next week! I am working from the table now anyway, so it's kind of like my desk :-):A FLY FIRST, KNIT LATER :A0 -
Oh dear. Went back to school as little moo left her blankie in all the excitement but it's nowhere to be seen. Thinking her teacher maybe put it in her bag after we left so no-one lost it.
I've given her an old fleece baby blanket and laid it on her pillow - thankfully she's absolutely goosed so went to sleep anyway <phew> just hope she doesn't wake looking for it.
Anyone ready for a hhc? Kitchen for me...Bossymoo
