Why oh why do people with debilating illnesses decide to have 5 children one after the other? Why?
OP, you are cross with the government, but you are receiving a lot of money subsidised by some people who would love to have more children but can't because they can't afford it. Can't you appreciate that you are moaning at the fact that you think those people are not paying enough taxes to support your choice?
Bipolar disorder is a very unstable illness, so you would have known that at any time, you could struggle supporting your family. I am all for everyone entitlement to have children, but why one just about every year?0 -

If you lost your £650 housing benefit then your other benefit income must be in excess of £2816.66+ per month. My heart bleeds for you if you can't pay your rent from £2816.66+ per month or £33,800 per year.
The other benefit income would be ESA/JSA, Tax Credits and Child Benefit. These are my own views and you should seek advice from your local Benefits Department or CAB.0 -
Whilst I am a newbie here and more of a lurker I felt I had to reply - I have lived in a house that was damp, mouldy, condensation everywhere, the blinds/curtains used to flap in the wind with the windows closed and my landlord was a joke so do you know what I did, I didn't sit their bleating about and having a self pity party I bought some silicone, draught stuff and did the windows as best as I could myself. I bought mould and mildew, googled and treated the damp as best as I could AND my income was way less than £2000 a month! Tell provident you can't pay £110, give them £10 a week if they don't like it tough, grow some balls, man up and change your life yourself! Heck save up the £100 provident money for a new deposit and move ASAP if you're unwilling to spend on the windows/damp.
I do think we're feeding a troll but just incase there's my thoughts.
Oh and PIP if it's anything like DLA takes months not 2-3 weeks (personal experience)0 -

Well done, LonelyGirl for solving your problem yourself - and that's what most of us have to do, who don't have a few thou a month to "budget" with. Some budget!
I've lived as an owner occupier in a house that badly needed double glazing, and something to stop the force 10 gale blowing through the gaps, but even with both DH and I working, we couldn't afford it, so we did without, like most people.
I wonder if the OP was given a lot of homework today?
