the £110 goes to paying our loans from provident (we had to move towns and disctrict for safety reasons and to get in this house we needed £700).... i have a few debts we have payment plans with in total there £10 a week

You need a proper debt management strategy, one that can get this written off or down to payment of a token amount like a fiver a week and one that comes from a charity, not a company that gets fees for their help.

Your priority is your rent, not paying consumer related debt - that is guidance from debt management experts, not just rumour. As you have found out, landlords have zero tolerance for rent arrears. This is why your rent is an absolute Number 1 priority bill and you should not be paying off other types of loans.

Here is a link from MSE on debt and mental health.

See also the Direct Gov website for their debt management advice. Shelter also has good links to getting free expert advice on debts. The Citizens Advice Bureau will also help you.

    now big aunt thankyou :)
i am england , apparently crisi loans have been stopped now??

I don't know anything about budgeting/crisis loans in England but hopefully this will prompt another poster to recommend a scheme if there is one in place from a government department that can cover rent arrears (not Provident, it is possible to get loans for moving costs from the DWP, I believe - you have other alternatives than the Provi or private companies, loan sharks, pay day loans and the like).

ive requested and they even noted it down on a checklist for the tennant book, ive rang ive reported, the guy they sent roudn didnt seem interested stayed int he hall didnt go near windows, and cheked the roof from the alley??????
my kids attik bedroom roof has a 26 water reading on a meter

my tennantcy ends in febuary at the end, they said they want to rehouse me if im not in debt, but i cant see hwo i can pay them without suffering,

Who the hell is 'they'? in the two paragraphs above. The landlord or their agents, the council environmental health, the surveyor? I don't know what you mean.

When I said put the request for repairs in writing and keep a copy (this is what Shelter advise), I wasn't asking them (whoever they are) to take notes. Shelter strongly advise that tenants keep good written records when it comes to contacting landlords or their agents.

As you are at risk of homelessness, see the eviction section of the Shelter website to understand the full process for legally getting a tenant out of the property. Also, see the homelessness section of the Shelter England website to understand how a council may assess any application for homelessness that you make with them. Consider contacting your council homelessness department now to understand your rights and future options.

hes on JSA and is seekign work hes really good and is trying hard hes 18 and almost fully plummer quazlifdied,
but so he gets £113 every 2 weeks and can claim £250 rent, im sure landlord woudl let him in if he knew hes gona get money,
but definatly my question will be be ''on his own'' or classed as our income and family :S i hope not as he coudl solve my problems, rid me of debt and help to get me moved in time,
    ou

You need to carefully check the position on this. Currently, he is not a named tenant, therefore I can't see why he has any liability to pay rent and without this liability, he will not be entitled to housing benefit. In a worse case scenario, all that would happen is that your landlord will not be happy with a new occupier and your BIL won't get any HB whatsoever and at most, can manage to pay you just a few bob from his JSA.

There is a housing benefit officer on this forum, hopefully he will spot this post and outline the HB issues around this.

Also, I understand (but I may be wrong) that a tenant who experiences a loss of income gets protection for 13 weeks and gets full HB for this period. This is supposed to help them when they downsize. Did you get any transitional protection like this when you first lost your job or was this at the previous property? I'm not really sure how this operates, perhaps another poster can post the exact rules on this.

I vote TROLL too - as the specifics just aren't being answered.

Does the OP - from the rantings here -seem like someone that would just not say anything in real life?

Is it just me thinking Troll here?. The posts title is a rant about "Tory crap" (why the need to mention Tory?).

The OP's posts are barely legible and they are spending benefit money on Provident Loans rather than caring for their family.

Something fishy here... If they are genuine the OP get over to the debt free wannabee section ,when your tenancy ends find another property.
£25K a year tax free? Yes, those Tories are really evil.

    I believe so.

Very similar to the troll a few days ago, who wrote in a similar style claiming he was bipolar.
Although he eventually admitted he was a troll.

I can not believe you are paying £110 a week on provident loans, as you say you needed £700 to move, that was five months ago so:
you have already paid over £2000 hmm doesn't add up.
    It's more like £25 a week.
People are trying to help you here,
do you waste money fags, beer, bingo, lotto, takeaways? Cut back and pay your rent its the most important bill.

Sorry but I vote troll to.

Not allowed to work so claim ESA, been told this is wrong benefit and should be claiming PIP. Can actually claim both so highly unlikely they have had advice!

House was a state when they viewed.moved in and still went ahead with it!

Homeless and then moved home, seriously, get the story straight.

    Sounds like another Andy username.
