ds1980 - it's just the Sky+ app available in the iOS or Google Play store. It's had functionality added to it to be able to view your planner, and 'remote control' with your phone or tablet. These need the Sky box and phone/tablet to be on the same network, and the connection can be a bit glitchy in my experience.
Also note that the newest SkyHD boxes, with built in WiFi, have had the RF2 output removed, meaning the traditional magic eye products won't work. SCART based senders will still be fine though.0 -

excellent, ta. ive got the new 1TB box i think and connected the on demand thing last night but i needed to pair it so assuming its not "new new" with built in fi?
worth bearing in mind though assume you can still use a splitter off RF1 if necessary? if no rf2 do you have to "turn on" the rf1 outlet via engineers menu now also?
not sure what i have log into on sky but think ill find my way now
