Oops! Google Chrome could not connect to : carphone warehouse experience days:mad::mad:

    Google Search

Can't even get on the website to enter voucher details! Tried on different devices - same error message - as above! Anyone else having this problem?

Yep, the site's been down all weekend.
  • I have 3 vouchers in total. One I have registered opting for the holiday experience. I wanted weekend break in UK. Surprisingly its only once you've chosen the experience you find out it's to be 7 nights abroad, 3 nights break abroad. it does mention country break however only refers to certain brochures you can choose from and there are no uk breaks in there. I can't afford to go abroad and emailed them asking the question. I got a reply saying they would ring me if I gave them my phone number which I did but no call. I then rang Platinim Travel in Ireland who are involved I did speak to a very nice lady who advised me that Sweete (who are a promotions company actually) would contact me and I can tell you the name of the lady in charge is called Lesley however I still haven't received a call 2 weeks on. I have got a number for them and will be trying before the end of the week

    Still not used mine yet...

reading the other posts here, I'm now not going to get my hopes up.

I only took the contract out to get a free X Box one, so happy with that, this would of just been a nice extra.

I would quite happily though support any reports to watchdog, carphone warehouse customer services and trading standards should I not get offered what was promised!
  • Have now actually managed to print my voucher. I chose Clay pigeon Shooting (turned out there was only one of the venues that did the offer for 2 which I wanted so wwould involve further travelling. Alse having looked at the company it is through.....their minimum booking is for 8 people!!! So unless we find 6 friends who would like to pay £50 each to fund our trip! It is totally useless

So me again as I sai I had 3 voucher so tonight I validated another £100 and opted for the Papmer experience. Guess what yet another farce! Wanted a spa experience I live in Wales my option was makeup training for 2 people (for gods sake) The nearest I could get to what I want is Manchester and only for one person. Treatment is specified not optional. Aromatherapy massage and salt scrub followed by a decleor aroma expert facial.

The problem with all these experiences is you only get to the terms and conditions once you have chosen your option and then theres no going back.
Completely unhappy now I have £200 worth of vouchers and very unhappy with my options plus a £50 one that won't even validate,
    very very unhappy.
Will be complaining to Carphone Warehouse and also watchdog
  • Definately a ridiculous farce! Got a £100 voucher and my hubby wanted a drivingday so had to choose a venue only without knowing any details. Cpuld only choose st albans and turns out it is 15mins on the road. Who wants that? Could just book a test drive! So ridiculous!
  • I too have had the same problem as many of the posts describe. To enter the site to see the experience days you have to have your code. Once entered it then proceeds to say you need a printer and that you only have one attempt to use it. As I did this on my iPad I logged out and went on a computer which had a computer a few days later only to find it saying error! Emailed customer services and got this lovely reply:

Many thanks for your email, unfortunately you only have one opportunity to enter the website as per the terms and conditions.
    Apologies for any inconvenience caused.

Not only is this ' inconvenient' it is unacceptable and unreasonable!
    Carphonewarehouse - the new fraudsters!
  • Have finally managed to successfully enter my £50.00 voucher code and obtain a Pamper Day for the OH. This after a number of unsuccessful earlier attempts.

For anyone facing difficulties I understand from elsewhere that the Deputy Chairman of CPW can be contacted at:

    Surprise Surpise!

    I got this error back!

We're having trouble processing this code on our system. Please double check the code on your voucher and try again. Don't worry though, just e-mail us on customercare@sweete.ie and we'll do what we can to help.

So now I take it, I'll email them and they will say my code has been used?!

I too was going to choose the clay pigeon shooting, seems to be more trouble than it's worth!
