Away to crack on then. Apparently it's a bit windy up where we're going at the moment - that'd better sort itself out before tomorrow's ferry!

Thanks Mara - yes, I described it to someone else who's just spending a week up on Uist earlier on as "a bit breezy" - I think she thought I was underestimating, somewhat, but if it's not passed 35mph gusts yet, that sounds about right to me?! Needs to be at least a force 8 to be "windy" surely!

Pretty much.

The last time they had hurricane-level winds with Papa Mooo he described it as "a bit blustery".

Lovely holiday cottage people have emailed to say that this weeks people are leaving early on saturday so they'll get the cottage turned round for us to be in at 11am, not 2pm. Extremely impressed that a) they remembered we'd asked about the possibility of getting in earlier and b) they were kind enough to agree. :T
