Afternoon everyone
Feb finished for me yesterday, so after double checking (& triple checking... My brains not playing ball today), I can declare a final total of £194.75 / £200, so £5.25 under budget. I'm over the moon with that :j
Since last October I've managed to halve the monthly grocery spends (spent £400 in October), no longer buy 'ready meals' (unless they're really cheap YS, lol), Batch cook & bought/use a Slow cooker which has fast become the love of my lifeI'm actually amazed at how far I've come, & also just how much I'm actually enjoying doing this too! I'm keeping the budget the same for March, but it's my first 5 week month this year, so hopefully I can get that extra week in & still come under... Fingers crossed!
See you all on the march thread, off to update sig0 -
im going to declare a slight over spend and start now for March
feb spends £402.39 so over by £2.39 which for me is not bad
£400 for marchSPC~12 ot 124

I am confident my March will be under. and it will hopefully even out for the spends for the year over the next few months!!

Spends today of £12.28 and I'm out raiding the £ shops tomorrow....eek.
Going to be a tight squeeze this month, but I've loads of food in, so I'm sure I'll be ok dropping the budget next month.
I must say I'm thoroughly enjoying this challenge but I hope I'm saying this at the end of the year!!A family that eats together, stays together

By my reckoning that means you have LOST 3 lbs :T WELL DONE - Have a small piece of bread (olive oil spread) and small piece of cheese - you deserve a little treat once a week and it helps with the diet so long as just now and then
I had to buy milk - thought I would - so just 79p today and only tomorrow to go. DH had mince in gravy (from freezer) with carrots, end of swede and other half tin of peas. I had LO baked spag bol (from freezer) with some of the green salad left in fridge.
Made two different curries today, with chicken bought from Ad*i at weekend, and got a veg/bean curry out freezer. So tomorrow will just cook some rice and use ends of salad and we can mix and match and freeze what's left.
Not finished until the end though so not declaring yet :rotfl:
Have a fantastic Friday

Hello, Sorry I'm so late with posting this. Had to go on work trip.
However, I finished at approx 96.75 (can't be 100% as somehow my receipts have gone walkabouts)
Well done everyone who came in, and keep trying those who didn't.
