I spent £5.60 today on matches, six YS Lurpak unsalted @ 45p each, two large YS free range eggs @ 49p, and four packs of six fresh yeast @19p.
Off to add to sig, before I forget as last time it wouldn't let me post
Holland & Barrett normally sell Redwood products - I used to wait until they had their 'buy one get one half price' offers and then stock up!
Redwood have changed their name to VBites now.....you can buy their products direct from their website:

Morning..
another £3.50 spent last night on cat food. Has she really gone through a whole box (12 pouches) between Sunday afternoon and Wednesday morning?! Without mentioning that I know for a fact that she eats what my neighbour leaves out for another cat + she gets into any house with a cat flap..when we got back the other day, we saw her looking at us from the window......of a neighbour's house!!
..that broke my heart, but I guess this is what cats do.. :rotfl:..naughty..
Anyway, +8.71 over my budget..so far..
Only today and tomorrow, people!! Looking forward to March, I really want to see how the two of us will get on with booze being included in the budget!
Have a good one everyone!!
PS - Kayester: don't worry about the extra £50..although it was food&drinks, I would personally consider the bday treat as a sort of extra-GC? ..but maybe Im just deluding myself..:p0 -

year's food budget £1,9200 -
Morning everyone!
I needed a couple of things from Aldi last night so decided to stock up so we won't need to do a full weekly shop at the weekend. Spent £15.98.
Nipped to the small Tesco afterwards when walking the dog to get some ham and rubber gloves. Got 2 pairs of rubber gloves because they were on offer so I will have a spare pair, and a couple of boxes of McVities Medley cereal bars that were on offer. £7 spent.
We've currently spent £142.16 out of our £160 budget and just today and tomorrow to go, so hopefully we will be under budgetWe will need a few things at the weekend but that will be out of March's budget.
Not long left now! Good luck everyone! xThank you to everyone who posts on here0 -
Spent £15.65 this morning at A!di They had some of the passata cartons in so grabbed three as they have been of of stock for ages. Am thinking I will get extra of these next week as well as we always using tomatoes or passata for something or other.
We are baby sitting tonight early so wont be cooking much probably just sandwiches and some soup before we go.
Had to throw 3 spring onions out this morning I found loitering with intent in the back of the fridge drawers and some radishes which are not looking too good but ok for today.
Will not declare until tomorrow just in case but if its a spend day or not we will be under budget.MARCH £62.38/2500 -
Hi - updating to say declaring with £5.23 left of February budget which I am carrying over to March.
Started MArch shopping yesterday and today - but all with cash. Usually end up in Mr T spending a fortune on the credit card. Feeling good about MArch as have a number of meal in now and what seems like plenty of cash per week to last me.
Going to try some new recipes too - any suggestions welcome on the March thread please.:)July 16 £95/£200

Bad day yesterday. Loads of YS items and some yoghurt. NO milk as they had sold out so £3.96 for the lot, and still need to get milk. It's really easy to default to cynicism these days, since you are almost always certain to be right.0

Declaring at £54. that £46 less than last year. Pleased at that even more so when I look and find that I am so well stocked, this is due to being given a load of tinned stuff and being very lucky with YS. I have enough for main meals for Mar and April so only need eggs fruit and veg. Although if theres a really good offer or YS then I buy it for the next monthSlimming World at target0

Hello all, need to spend a bit of time this evening catching up with the posts.
Did the first big stock up grocery shop last week came to £170, but not done since December, so added to fruit, bread & milk top ups over the rest of this month and the butchers meat shop we have spent around £300 in total.
This is over budget for Feb but it will cover most of March only the top ups needed as cupboards and freezers now pretty well stocked again.
Will go over to March now, see you there.
