Hi all,
Spent £16.31 in Asda this morning, which should do us until Friday. I froze a 4 pint of semi skimmed milk before our holiday and despite it tasting fine in tea and coffee, DS2 has informed me there's "something wrong with the milk" so I bought 8 pints afresh today.
Also bought 4 packs of 9 ys crumpets as DH likes crumpets in the morning.
Mealplan for the remainder of this GC:
Tuesday - macaroni cheese, broccoli
Wednesday - sausages, mash, peas, sweetcorn
Thursday - chicken and chorizo pasta
Friday - bacon and cheese puffs, oven chips, peas
Still very carb centric and need to stock up the freezer again when the Aldi voucher comes (Thursday?).
Have £8.93 to last until Friday.

Do you have a recipe for your vegan beef stew please and could it be done in the SC? I'm vegetarian but it sounds like it would be nice with dumplings.GC Jan £101.91/£150 Feb £70.96/150 Mar £100.43/150 Apr £108.45 app/150 May £149.70/150 Jun £155.15/150 July £89.90/£150 (includes food, toiletries and cleaning from 13th to 12th of each month. I have decided to end my month early and I am £49.54 under budget. Although I did a Mr M shop today nothing was bought for the few days left of this month. We are away on Friday so I had to shop for our return on Monday and today was the only day I could get there.I will declare the spend on the March GC. Well done to everyone and thanks for the support in February. See you over the other side.Mortgage and Debt free but need to increase savings pot. :think:0

Just popping in to add £31.68 for last Fridays jaunt around mozzies. A bit cross though as my friend asked me to buy a couple of bottles of wine and gave me the money for it after- which is fine except I have realised I have been overcharged by £2 on each bottle so have asked for one of empty bottles back so I can take it back with receipt to get refund as I remember the price being cheaper on the side of the shelf but it was a bin end sale so probably not there now

I bought eggs at £1.26 and some stock cubes at 2 for £2, but I had a price promise voucher of 47p and a voucher for 50p off the stock cubes.
Thats it I wont be in the shops until the weekend (or rather the OH will be in Lidl getting 6 packs of the half price mince)
So a few pence over but looks like I did £180/£180
