    £22.60 spent but got a LOT of food and some toiletries too :)
    Got 2 whole chickens, lots of fruit and veg, half price cleaning stuff, tea bags that'll last ages, a few treats too. Very happy and within budget for feb still :)

    I'm over I'm afraid.
    The 'everything else' budget has done a bit better so I have £23.41 left for absolutely everything until Friday.

    Hoping everybody else is doing better with their GC!
    August Shopping Challenge. 26/8. Budget £250 Spent £256.81.. £6.81 over. So £0.00 a day left.

    Came to £30.87, added to sig. Have got ten days til payday and four til the end of the month, so not sure whether to start doing payday to payday, being as i have quite a bit left.

    Have finished shopping for the month and came in spot on, I still need to get a burger for OH from the butcher which I'll have to pay for separately but I bought enough milk and yogurts to last into March as it would have been a false economy not to take advantage of the offer when I need it, so it will balance out.

    So, so chuffed as I've always struggled with the food budget. Big thank you to this thread and those in it :D

    evening all, well, lost a few receipts along the way but I think I might have actually just come in underneath my target of £180 so pretty happy about that :j, of course I might have actually come in slightly over but am not going to think about that possibility!!


    so, still making my own bread and taking lunch to work, but boy it can be difficult at times.


    so off to the march challenge thread to make my promises all over again
