Declaring Feb over at $305.53.
Will be away for next two days, and all spending will come from a different budget, so that's us finished for the month.0 -
OH paid a visit to Costc0 today, so I asked him to pick me up a tray of chopped tomatoes while he was there (the only thing I need from there for another couple of weeks). £3.99 of my grocery budget spent.Cheryl0

Can hardly believe it but another NSD
Made two beef, mushroom and potato pies the small one we had tonight and the other which will feed at least 4 has been shoved, squashed and tied into the freezer for another day. Whilst I was doing this I found two portions of fish, some pork chops and a lamb shank that I had forgotten about.MARCH £62.38/2500 -
NSD again - 2 more to go before payday!!!!Note to self - STOP SPENDING MONEY !!
£300/£1300 -
Last weekly shop of February completed tonight with a spend of £18.39. I've heavily overspent on the month, though a good stock of YS meat accounts for £30 of it, so we go into March with the kitchen freezer full and the garage freezer half full. A health issue has also meant some changes and additions to my diet that I wouldn't normally buy. All adds up.
I've batch cooking and baking ingredient stocks, so hopefully will even things out next month and budget better at the same time.
The good news is that DS has been trying new things and liking them, as well as his snack habits moving to healthier options.
The challenge is definitely a learning curve for me.Back on the DFW Wagon:

CC - £4,500 on 0% til 02/2019
Loan - £12,063.84 as at 4/1/180 -
