I'm impressed by the speed in which he was decluttered, I'm still trying to get my daughters stuff from our house to hers and she's been in her own home over a year

As it's a nicer day weather wise, I decluttered some paperwork, cleared the shed of some junk to go to the dump, moved some things around and put stuff away in wardrobes to make it look more minimalist and neat.:)

    I did quite well.:A:T

  • Nesting really kicking in here...and I'm making the most of it!

House has been gone through room by room since Christmas and it's generated 9 bin bags to take to the charity shop and oh so much just to throw away. Being pregnant def. makes it easy to clear out your wardrobe! ;)

Today we spent a 2nd day in the garage...and I think we only have an hour or 2 to go before it's totally organised.

Dump: guinea pig hutch, chest of broken drawers, 2 broken plastic storage tubs, dried up tins of paint, DVD cases for all of our DVDs (we keep them in DiscBooks), random boxes/bags/mouse-nibbled pipe covering and other rusty/old tools being kept for no apparent reason (for 15 years!).

Charity: 3 bin bags of boys clothes 0-5 years
*current bump is a girl and we've already sorted and kept/washed as much as we can that isn't total 'boy'...including clothes for 0-5years, nursery furniture/bedding/sheets, baby/toddler toys and walkers, baby gates, monitor car seats etc. ready to re-use.*

Bin: 1 of our wheelie bins is stuffed with total rubbish. We usually fill 1 bin every 2 weeks so we decided to fill the other one from the clear out!

    Feeling shattered but productive.
  • De- cluttering has been put on hold in our house. Our local Recycling Centre (tip) has closed for refurbishment (!!??!!) for 5 (yes,I said FIVE) Months!!
Beggars belief really. Hence, no good sorting through too much stuff, as without the option to Chuck, would end up just rearranging the clutter

  • Some paperwork sorted and ready for a bonfire. Why have I still got insurance documents from three years ago ???

A couple of boxes sorted, some stuff listed and some destined for the charity shop. Work tomorrow, so decluttering on hold again till Wednesday

The same reason why I had (until I shredded them yesterday) the insurance documents and repair receipts for a car that I sold over 5 years ago!!!:o
