Hi all, thought I'd join in with this one as I love to declutter even though I don't do it often enough
My next declutter will be in the bathroom. I'm of an age where people buy me chocolates and toiletries now for birthdays and Christmas so I'm going to go through everything and share stuff out between me and my pre-teen daughter and let go of the things I'm keeping "just in case".
Then I need to go through my wardrobe, my shoes, the general flotsam and jetsam of things that inhabit various drawers, excess duvets, bedding (surely it's enough to have one sheet/duvet cover in use and one in the wash for all beds?) and another clear out of kids things.
In general life I'm trying very hard to only inhabit my visible world with things I love to look at, wear and use. Everything else is just baggage. And if i need something "new"? then charity shops will provideDebt:None
Will to do better:Always and forever0 -
Since last posting, I've sorted and rehomed most of the tree books that were living in the top of my wardrobe. Some I felt sad about sending on their way but with my kindle, I have plenty to read and won't miss them. Well I hope I won't. I've sorted my clothes. Generally lots has been sorted and I feel pleased.0

Hi- could I pass on a tip that someone advised me to do. Put each set of bed linen in one of the matching pillowcases. makes it all neat and easy to get at! I`ve been doing this for a while and it certainly helps. Hang on to the bedlinen unless really threadbare. Always useful in an emergency with sudden guests.0 -

Everyone is doing so well!:T
I am kicking my clutter out in a very intense way.
FIVE rubbish bags going to tip. It was utter carp from my husband's wardrobe!! It really annoys me that he was hanging on to useless stuff. His wardrobe has all been vacuumed and the remaining stuff put back in neatly and it looks much better. I would still say a lot more needs to go but I will have to work on that lol.;)
Another big bag of clothes sent to recycling, I must be keeping them in business.:D
A family member is going to collect some storage boxes and garden things so at least someone will make use of it.HOUSE MOVE FUND £16,000/ £19,000
