Wrong cable?

Hi,
I bought a television from Currys yesterday and for some reason it came with the wrong cable. I contacted their customer service by phone within the hour of purchasing it. The lady who I got through to tried to get in touch with the branch I bought it from, but there was no response so she said she'd get them to phone me asap. I still haven't heard anything. Am I within my rights to return the product for a full refund on the grounds that the television came with the wrong lead and Currys haven't got back in touch even though the packaging has been opened, etc?
Thanks for any help/advice.

Because I'm kind of annoyed at their shoddy customer service so out of principle I'd prefer not to have to deal with them any further and would prefer to buy the product from elsewhere. I've had the television sat here unusable since yesterday.0

What cable was wrong? The mains leads are usually attached to the set and they don't usually come with any other cables0

Umm most TV's come with separate power cables now, normally an IEC C13 (aka kettle lead).0

Goodness no! A kettle lead is over-specified as a modern TV doesn't require to cope with 13a.
However what 'cable' is wrong?
If you are going to the bother of wanting to return because of this, it sounds like buyers remorse more than anything. Much easier to ask for the correct one (if mains) or buy a replacement yourself if an aerial, video or other connection.0 -

It was the main power cable. It looked like a 3 pin rather than the required 2 pin.
And I'm not too sure how it's buyers remorse when I haven't even used the television yet.
Anyway, I've just taken it back to the store and got a full refund.0 -

My 2 LG sets came with Figure-of- eight power leads with a UK plug. This allows sets to be shipped to any country. I have not seen a TV with a captive plug in years.0 -

Then you get a 3 or 5amp C13
I referred to it as a kettle lead as that's what most people think of when looking at an IEC C13.0
