    Morning world :)

What an eventful weekend. In summary, a poorly pony who is now on the mend, poorly child (ok tho), a burnt mouth (me) which is killing, a cleaning spree and wine :)

I feel loads better about life now I've managed to get a few more rooms decluttered and cleaned. Spring cleaning at its best. Hoping to get a bonus from work next month so working out what priority is for spending that - already have CC allocated a chunk (question is a chunk of what tho).

Spent a bit over food budget as had to go to Tesco instead of Aldi. I hate that place.

Hoping my furniture that I saved for arrives today. Then we can get it put together tonight and another room is done :)

DH asked to come and see the horses with me last night and I simply love that. One day I'll have him on a heavy horse wandering through the woods with me, confident and with a smile on his face.

On another note, I drove to work this morning and came behind someone who was doing 40/50 on the dual carriage way. Overtaking them I actually wondered (safety aside) if they were MSE'ers trying to conserve petrol! How MSE changes your life and dreams can make you focus.

    Afternoon :)

Well things are ticking along which is good as it means nothing's going crazily wrong nor have I won the lottery (not so good but hey ho). The pony is picking up and almost better and the big girl's having a good few days and is back to jumping again.

In the non horsey world, money is ok and still on target but as always will be tight at the end of the month. I've had to use more fuel than normal over the weekend as was checking on pony alot but that's just the way it is.

Made some bread last night with DS as he loves it and unfortunately the dog at it overnight!!!!!!

My furniture for the spare room came so that can go up tonight - hoping it's ok as it was a budget buy but is solid wood.

Got the slow cooker out to put something on overnight tonight for tea tomorrow (on low, beef always takes that long for mine).

    Afternoon :)

Things continue to progress :) Little pony is pretty much ok now (I won't jinx myself!) and big girl is still enjoying things so happy there. Dog is also fine despite his over indulgence!

My new budget furniture came and I love it!!!!!

I'm recording every spend I make and so far sticking to doing that. Apparently it takes a month before it becomes a habit so I'll keep doing it.

There's a property for sale that won't be totally out of my reach once I am DF - do you think it will stay on the market for 3 years to wait for me :D

Going for the mid week top up tonight - don't need much so hoping it'll be less than £10.

Enjoying life at the mo as although I have things going on I wish I'd change, as of today I have a family I love who are happy.

    Morning :)

Had to spend on some things for the dog like wormer and flea stuff so that's me £50 lighter as I got some things for the house too.

So another thing that had to go on CC as it's not in this month's budget.

Ald1 came to £16 - tuna os very expensive :( but hey ho. I'll manage.

I can't believe how quickly the days are passing.

I think I am going to try for some smaller goals as my first goal is 2 years away yet.

    Afternoon :)

Feeling rather full of beans today actually. I've brought some lunch in so no spending and I don't have long left before I can leave so all is well.

This weekend I'm going to sew some seeds, I've no idea if I'm supposed to yet but I'll get the packets out and see what I can do.

House is going to have another thorough clean as it makes me feel good and I'm doing to find somewhere else to take the dog. As he isn't fond of other dogs, I need a big space where we can run about and not bump into anyone.

I'll head over to the horses after I've put tea on and will make some bread in the BM to go with it. I want to get back to my frugal, homely and enjoyable way of life. Time just seems to fly by at the mo, and I need time to sit down and take stock. Everything's always so tense and stressful because we're always rushing around. This week's made me realise that needs to change. So tonight, I want smiles and relaxing from all 4 of us, inc the dog and the horses, so all 7 of us!

HIYA - sorry been AWOL - seems ages since I was last on here.

Glad to hear horses are well but sorry to hear about your mum - must be a worry.

I have a dog that is naughty at pinching food - we discovered she has been eating the chicken eggs - we did wonder why the count was low.

Hope you have a lovely weekend - I think weather is supposed to be good.:)

    Morning :)

I'm feeling good for a Monday! Thanks for the reply LAM - we still haven't had the letting re Mum, it will come this week. I'm trying not to worry about it - whatever happens we will deal with it. She is a strong lady and I must be too, for her.

We had a lovely weekend with the horses and family. The only frustration is DS is at a very trying age and throws tantrums. I used to think it was other people's kids that did that and now I have to deal with it!!! I've brought him up no differently to my DD but of course they are their own people (even at 3!).

At work all week as normal and determined to make it an organised week. The house had a good blitz over the weekend and I got a few things organised - if I keep at it then it will all be well in order before we move. If!

DD and I planted some seeds and some strawberry plugs and DS and I made HM bread. I started knitting which is something I've wanted to do for an age so all in all a very productive weekend considering I wanted to bring it all back to basics and feel homely again. Also I have tea in the SC and lunch brought in.

However! Money wise I've put quite a bit on the card over last month so I'm going to put my new totals up as of today.

    SLC £3318.9 / £3318.90 / £3185.11 / £3049.43
    CCV £11483.44 / £11312.60/ £11312.60 / £12013.48
    CCT £5490.04 / £5440.09 / £5382.04 / £5329.04

    CCR £3957.65 / £3918.07 / £3878.89 / £3840.10
    NTW £14451.24 / £14185.79 / £14185.79 / £13708.55
    OD £946.28 / £892 / £1000 / £1000
    NXT £254.66 / £234.70 / £212.61 / £199

    £39902.21 / £39302.15 / £39157.04 / £39139.60

Although it's heading in right direction overall (far right are latest) if I'd not put on the CCV then it'd be lots healthier. It is what it is though.

So next month SLC will be under 3k YEY and CCV will by under 12 again (yey) and Next is under £200 now YEY YEY and next month overall will be under £39k - yey and  still

So I shall continue to pay as much as I can and spend as little as possible.
