This morning I've been quite anal and have set up a new spreadsheet devoted to my meter readings :D

I'm astonished that one got through the MSE filth filters - or is it just my filthy mind....? :p

Sounds like you're incredibly organised :D

    Another Monday - morning diary!!!

I was tired again this morning but came round quite quickly - I think my body's getting used to getting up very early now. So far this morning I've made the packed lunches, done all the pots from last night, cleaned the kitchen, hovered downstairs, put some washing on, hung some up (going to get one of those indoor ones, thanks caz!!) and froze a meal that I made in the SC last night, oh and prepared tonight's tea. Now DD has just got up so we're going to get ready then have breakfast to leave in an hour 15 mins for another day.

Yard tonight. We viewed some potential ones to move to (lack of turn out, limited hay, no use of school when needed) but I would miss a good friend if we moved so I don't know what to do.

Lovely weekend though, if too short. HM bread and soup for lunch on Sat and a Sunday dinner yesterday so I am getting back into the swing of it.

Lovely night at the yard last night, pony was a good boy (prob as he'd been on the walker for an hour prior to riding!) so DD cantered on her own which is a big deal on this pony so I'm pleased.
Still totally unsure what to do re yard move - DD would miss her friends but the other place have all year turn out, more schools and hacking. She'd still have her pony and there's a couple of kids at the other place. I just don't know. The other place is so tranquil too but I do love where we are now.
Delivery coming tomorrow from Mr T whom I still don't like but provides a means to an end. £40 for this one and will take me through until next Wed.
I'm skint this month already from a payment I'd forgotten about. typical.

Very little to update. All ebay sales have been sent - made the grand total of £25 or similar but if I do that every month it's worth it. I'll wait a week or so before putting more on as I'm not in that mood at the mo.

Decided against moving livery yards, we're comfortable and happy where we are and have a plan of action to speak to the owners re winter turn out (for end of this year now) and making riding facilities available to us over the riding school. Yes we will still moan, but at least it's amongst friends.

I need to decide what soup I am making for the weekend and get that out of the way. In fact I will do that today.

Delivery coming tonight, had to add coffee as forgot about that. Should take us through meal wise until next week, will need milk, salad and fruit before that tho. Toad in the hole for tea and I even remembered to defrost the sausages. It's so much of a help having the menu plan done and I enjoy doing it.

Starting to get sick of working evening's now but I can't work out another way of doing it and still working full time. Maybe I'm just having a bad few weeks and it'll settle down again. I'll give it a week. Still putting the lottery on!

As you might tell from the tone of this post (just read it back), I'm feeling rubbish - had a fight with DH. I hate being at work when we're not speaking and having to wait until his break to speak. He can't use his phone when not on break. I can't decide whether to kick off with him or cuddle him! (Stupid fight but things were said that shouldn't have been).

Wise to stay put I think, especially if you can sort out the winter turnout.

Hope all is well with DH, I think there's something in the air as mine was in an odd mood this morning too.

    Morning :)

I feel so relived that we're staying put so I know it was the right decision. All is fine now thank you - he'd had time to think what a prat he was being :D

Te$co delivered last night and all was well, just one sub but was acceptable. Of course I had forgotten a few things but it's inevitable when ordering online for me. I'm getting into the new habit of writing shopping lists during the week. Tonight is SC lasagne - never tried it before. The menu plans are working great though and not having to go to the shop physically is bliss.

I've started a weekly planner that is literally going to be an hour by hour one until I get a good routine working. I keep forgetting certain things, be it take the meat out of the freezer or DD PE kit so it should help greatly. There's simply not enough hours in the day so those I have must be organised.

I've decided to get some new things on ebay to keep pocket money coming in. I was looking into other work, like Caz does, but I just can't dedicate the time.

We've booked a holiday and DH has paid :D so lucky so I can't wait. I can't afford new clothes but still have lots from when we went to the DR last year (special hol) so I don't need any. I need to try the kids clothes on them to see if theirs still fits too. Will start that tonight.

47 pay days until DF. Roll on!

    Morning!

Hoss' are finally allowed in the fields today :D I shall be dragged there no doubt! So I am feeling rather pleased today. I'll go after work and leave the 2 hours and build up to a full day. We don't want a colicky horse on our hands, nor a lami pony! Then maybe after a week they can go full days.

Little pony seems to have a problem with his ear - he will not let me near it, not head shaking tho, not floppy and appears in good health. Tomorrow we do battle with cottom wool balls and warm water though to see if any discharge (non visible). The vets aware and will see him on the back of someone else unless it becomes serious.

Money wise I'm only spending on groceries and fuel so that's good. Just as well as that's all I have left for the month - it's going to be a long one! Though we go on hols at the end of it :)
