Morning diary land
Another day is upon us. I couldn't get up this morning, kept snoozing the alarm. I should have got up and washed my hair, instead it's slapped back and sprayed with a bit of perfume to cover the distince smell of horses LOL - so appealing. I'll be back at the yard at tea time so hardly seemed worth it anyway
T£sco is coming tonight, last one until after the holidays probably.
Pay day on Friday and it can't come soon enough!!!
I've started organising my DD bedroom (she's 7) with her. We did the book case last night as her books were all over the place - I simply LOVE kids books! I will have the house in an organised state to move - that will take the 3 years before the debts gone anyway lol!Debt - CCV £3792

About to start another hectic day. I say start - I've already done the family morning shift, this is now going to be the work shift. I have to go to lunch again today, whilst this is nice it doesn't fit in with my budget and I feel obliged to go as it's a old friend who I rarely see.
T£sco came last night and this week I don't feel like I got much for my money. I've decided to mix and match when I get back from holidays. I will maybe get a T£sco delivery fortnightly or so and go to Ald1 inbetween - I'll just have to try and pick the quiet periods but they don't seem to have any.
I've checked all the accounts this morning and it's still settled. I found some old statements back to 2012 online and seriously I've been in this mess for far too long, just look at my user name (that was an old DFD which was at the time a year or 2 in the future!) I started struggling originally in 2005/6 and never properly been back on track since, it's got progressively worse. Granted I've made some decisions to add to it knowingly (new car, house requirements, horse)....The reason I am looking is to boost me into keeping paying as much as I can as it's high time I was out of this mess.
Pay day creeping round (tomorrow) and the chqs are written out so livery will be covered until next pay day, farrier paid for new shoes (corrective and lost in field!!!), school clubs (to allow me to work the hours I do) paid until next pay day, all holiday things bought - very few (need to pack eeek), and the rest is under budget. Groceries will have to be minimal next month as will diesel.
Received new perfume from my Mam from her holidays, so niceand a new sarong for my holidays too.
Raining here today, a wet pony for tonight. Big girl will be dry as stabled until farrier comes. I'll scrape and towel LO off and he will be ok.
Menu plan still going well - made french onion soup which is the tastiest soup I've ever made - yum!Debt - CCV £3792

New CC arrived so I've done a money transfer at 0% til Sept 15 to bank account meaning I can clear OD and pay rest to other CC. Stops OD charging me for being in it monthly and will allow me to build decent reputation with the bank again. That's the plan anyway.Debt - CCV £3792

Pay day finally! I'm going to hang fire until all today's payments have processed with it being a weekend and bank holiday everything's to pot (DD's are usually out on Sunday's date so not sure what will happen).
The good news is that the CC transfer has gone through meaning my OD is now cleared so I won't be charged for that anymoreIt's on 0% until Sept 15 and next week I'll pay the remainder to the other CC once I know what I have left and I will have had a statement issued by then too. I feel alot better not having an OD even though I know I still owe the money.
Now the challenge is to never go OD again! I have my budget set for the month and will get organised for the return of the holiday.
It's a horrible wet and windy day today. I will have a soggy pony today - might bring him in for a break from it overnight if it doesn't let up. Tomorrow isn't looking much brighter. At least it's a Bank Holiday weekend.
I think I will look for a soup to make tonight. Something warming...Debt - CCV £3792

Found a yummy soup on BBC GF with sweet potates and thai spices which I have the ingredients in for. Will make that tonight when I get in as a quick and simple one, just how I like it.
I'm struggling today with lady pains - aching and feeling a bit down. That soup, a bottle of wine and a movie might cheer me up. A hot bath might be in there somewhere too.
So I have decided to make a start on the house. I have already started actually. What I mean by this is decluterring and getting organised. If and when we come to move (yes yes it's over 3 years away) then I want to be ready to roll and have a nice simple move, if there is such a thing. I want to avoid having to declutter and get organised whilst we have people viewing the house and a for sale sign outside. It also helps me stay motivated and might even generate some ebay / facebook sales!
Tonight, or this afternoon rather, I am going to start again in DD room as the top of her wardrobe is like a tardis and I've stored god knows what up there. That will take an hour maybe. An hour a day is enough to get things done without cracking up?!Debt - CCV £3792

I didn't make the soup! LOL. Weekends just take over sometimes and I go with the flow. Had a lovely weekend though so all worth it. Got a little bit of the packing done, trying to keep to a minimum so will get everything ready then sleep on it and take some more out the next night. We always come back with unworn clothes.
Money wise, I am SO pleased that I moved money to my OD as it feels so good not having it (I know I am repeating myself) and now I've paid 1k to CCV. the 0% has just ran out on that so it's good timing (planned) as my interest next month will be £150 otherwise! I am not paying £150 interest!!!!!!!
I'm going to let everything settle and when I come back from holiday I will pay the remainder to it, leaving myself in credit in my current account so that I don't end up using the OD again.
So this week is about getting my work complete, the house clean and tidy (inc washing done), eating from the freezer with a couple of fresh items from Aldi to keep us going, packing minimally and getting everything ready to fly (inc packed lunc for plane as we're flying over tea time).Debt - CCV £3792

Evening diary land.
A productive day so far. Managed to get plenty done work wise and also the rest of the washing's pretty much done for the holidays, ironed and placed in the "to put in suitcase" pile. Made a lovely HM tea with food we have in and got "something" out of the freezer which we will have tomorrow. Plan is to have freezer food (by this I mean HM then frozen stuff) for the rest of the week using up everything before we fly on Saturday lunch time. I did need to top up cereal for DH who eats more shre@ded whe@t than you can shake a stick at and a couple of bits of fruit and veg - came to £12 odd.
Also, made a fabulous soup from b b c good food that I was going to make Friday - I will take that heated for lunch at work tomorrow.
I haven't been to the horses today as my friend checked on them for me as we don't ride Tuesday's and they are out so no need for me to do anything.
NSD today - tomorrow is fuel only. NSD for rest of week too.

All present and correct, accounts checked. Had to buy £20 gift for someone at the weekend and that's just come out, also £15 on food as treat for family.
Yesterday NSD as mentioned and today will be fuel. I will fill up as taking mine to the airport on Sat. Need to adjust the tyre pressure too as the fronts seem to have lost some.
I'm planning on taking £100 maybe, abroad. I was wondering if I should wait to get it changed over there. Truth be told I don't want to spend a penny. We're All Inclusive and planning just one day out so shouldn't have to spend much. We'll have a wander round the airport shops but again, they are very expensive and we don't 'need' anything.
I'm planning on taking a mini picnic on board, tuna wraps, cheese stuff for the kids, might do a quiche or such like for the journey there. Coming back I will grab something from the snack bar before we travel. We will have to buy drinks on board/once thro security.
Can't wait now. Today's a wash out here so some sun will do me just nicely!Debt - CCV £3792

Yesterday I spent £30 on diesel. Took Mam for her radiotherapy (she had breast cancer, operation (it hadn't spread thankfully) and now is having 3 weeks of radiotherapy. I am worried as she will be having it whilst I am away however my Dad's there and I will do the week I am back.
Today I have shed loads to do still inc finishing getting ready for the holiday, the house cleaned ready for a party tomorrow night (DS's birthday whilst we're away so tea party for him for family to come round).
First of all I have work to do tho! Joy.
Going to miss the horses so much when away(

Little pony was full of it tonight the swine. DD sat the free bucks he had on offer however hurt her back a bit when she jolted. He was fresh as was stabled for 5 hours as my friend thought she was helping by bringing him in for DD to ride. God help us during the winter! Anyway - lunged him and he was lots better. We didn't do anything daring tonight with going away on Sat. I rode the big girl, just basic flatwork too. She was her lovely usual self.
Fuel for the airport ride tomorrow and card/wrapping paper for DS's gifts. That's about it I think. No other spends planned.Debt - CCV £3792
