Thanks both

Well I've managed to sort my accounts out after unplanned meetings.
Last month I was £37538.44 and once my payments clear from today it will be £36517.05 so monthly reduction of £1021.39. Not bad going! I'll update sig.
Some months will be better than others of course but if I can aim for this most months I should do pretty well! Goodness, what will I do with my cash when I am DF - like I don't know!!!Debt - CCV £3792

Morning diary land
Well after a fabulous financial month, I'm slowing right down (not wanting to)! I am full of cold it seems, came on overnight but explains the thumping headache I had all Saturday and why I felt tender on Sunday. I'm annoying myself sniffing (not to mention everyone else!) so will have to grab some tissues and get sorted. I'm glad I am up and about tho as sitting at home would only make me feel worse.
It's been rather a pants weekend tbh - I've not done half the things I wanted to so that is frustrating me. However we have got the downstairs loo almost complete and it looks fabulous. That won't need doing again for a long time (thankfully!) and DH has paid for a new sideboard in the room to finish that off.
Money is tight today whilst I wait for some more to come in later in the month. Just means I need to make sure I don't use that account at all. I shouldn't need to anyway but I do like to know it's there just in case.
To do for home life then - get menu plan organised, make some bread, put ironing away and do final load of washing, check if my mobile was covered under warranty, make soup,....there's more, lots more.....
I can't batch cook this week as we're having rice/pasta type dishes (alternating with last weeks batch cooking session) and I prefer to freshly cook them. Tomorrow will be sausages in SC tho with mushy peas and mash - yum.
I need a bit of a kick up the bum to get me going today. I have a stack of work to do and no desire to do it but that's no attitude to have. It pays my bills and without this job I'd be up the creek without a paddle so I shall get to it by starting a document wrote up that is due.Debt - CCV £3792

Right - document ready in draft and has an outstanding question so I have sent for the information and nothing else I can do until the answer comes back. I now need to update our records tool with where I've got to so my manager can see at a glance what's what. I shall do that next. I know you don't need to know this but it is helping me get and stay organised!
Also I forgot to mention that over the weekend that wasn't - I took a black bag to DD's room and got rid of lots of junk that even she admitted she doesn't need. I think we will do this once every couple of weeks. I should alternate it to be a different room each week maybe - felt good decluttering. Ideally I'd like a clutter free, organised house - long way off yet!

Hi sorry to hear you have the cold.
I have just this morning told DD we need to get rid of a pile of junk from her room, she can never find anything and it's because she has too much junk and is the least organised person I have ever met.
Hope you have a good day.0 -
It amazes me how people can be paid to do sweet nothing. Don't get me wrong, I know I come on here when at work to update however I also know I work my behind off and do more hours than asked when needed. I swap my hours to suit them etc so it frustrates the life out of me when people stand around for literally hours chatting about !!!! then when I ask someone for an update they tell me they haven't had time to do it!!?!?!?!?
Anyway! Rant over.
Another 1.5 hours to go, just taking 5 to catch up with myself now. I have lots more document updates to do and send out so I shall continue with those until I leave. Ticking off the items nicely.Debt - CCV £3792

Good Morning diary land.
Well I am back to my usual chirpy self today. I think I had Monday blues yesterday morning. Not to worry - all is well today.
Tonight is gorgeous slow cooker sausages with gravy and veg. I am really looking forward to it as I'm so cold today! The office is really dropping in temp and sitting at a desk all day isn't good for staying warm.
Today is my long day which is just as well as I have plenty to be getting on with. Going to grab some lunch then crack on with reports I need to write. I have around 8-10 areas I have to write them up on and it's a mammoth task as lots of prep work to get the data for the report.
On another note M0untain H0rse have a lovely new brochure out which I was dreaming over - I shall treat myself when I am DF!
No spend day yesterday and today, tomorrow will be Ald1 top up but that's it. Need it to be a quiet month. Saying that vet's bills came in for £41 for annual jab so need to pay that from savings. Hopefully that's it.Debt - CCV £3792

What a busy afternoon. I've been in meetings since lunch time so not managed to write the reports up yet tho now, following the meetings, I have 2 more to do plus a whole bunch of emails with actions lining up in my inbox.
The days are flying past. Tea is on in the SC and I'll do some spuds with it when I get in and a tin of mushy peas mmmm! Then kids to bed after homework and they can watch a dvd. I will hoover the house and sort the washing then work again, I don't mind as I want to get it done so I'm at a good starting point in the morning.Debt - CCV £3792

Well I've just got out of a meeting and some of the extra work that I took on due to another team member leaving is being distributed out around another team in the company. My boss called me to tell me as she's really pleased and thinks it's taking the weight off me alot. It is but I have my reservations. I struggle to allow others to help as I'm a control freak in this respect, maybe in many respects......I like to do the job I was assigned as I know I will do it will. I've already started this work and it feels like it is mine now, hence not wanting to pass it on.
It does mean I won't have to have as many late nights from now until Xmas when it's deadline is so why don't I feel happy and grateful?
Anyway, tea was gorgeous. A definite keeper.Debt - CCV £3792
