Have you discovered eyeslipsface.co.uk for makeup? somethings are hit and miss, but they usually half 50% off sale. Everything is usually £1.50 or £3.00. plenty of reviews on youtube to hunt down a good product too!

Glad your big girl is jumping nicely. I had a dressage lesson last night - last minute prep for another event this weekend.

    Yay to new Wellies. :D

I know what you mean about clothes over the past few years I have been very good at shopping and only bought essentials. I buy face cream from Aldi - it was quite rich but not bad actually. Considering the fortune I spend on the horses very little actually goes on me.

Thanks for the link rock - I'll check it out.

Is dressage your preference LAM? It's something I'd like to try a bit more - I'm on a SJ competition yard (not that I am either!!!) so always enticed into jumping lol.

Tried the wellies on and they are perfect tho I forget how snug they are as new. Altrhough they are too warm in the summer so I'm just using my jod boots the whole time as they aren't getting trashed in the fields.

Ragwort picking this coming Sat - joys!

Re Aldi, LAM, I've bought their face cream before and been happy with it, the only frustration is when they don't restock. Speaking of which, I'm heading there tonight for a bit of fruit, salad and veg.

Money wise we're ok. We've found a new hobby too - ge0caching - going to give it a whirl at the weekend - free so right up my street.

The kids are now off as mentioned, sooooo that means they will need clean non school clothes each day. They are at the age where they always come back filthy so pretty much new outfit every day. I think they have enough to cover that (got me thinking on about our own clothes) so all should be well. I'll get their school shoes on ebay as they are virtually outgrown now but in vgc so someone else could beenefit. Their old school uniform will get handed down to friends.

I think we'll have fish and sweet potatoes for tea tonight with other veg. Summery and healthy. I can't believe it's Friday tomorrow! Will get thinking of some weekend activities to do with the family (other than geo).

I joined BE this year after doing a few hunter trials last year so dressage is just one of the phases. My dressage is hit and miss - mare is full TB so can throw the odd tantrum. She is brilliant cross country and show jumping although will stop show jumping if she feels she is 'wrong'. Its slowly coming together.

I have always wanted to try geocaching - sounds fun.

Fish and sweet potatoes sounds yummy!

I'm hoping that will be me in a couple of years :) Speaking of TB strops, mind is TB x ID and never ever TB like....except tonight, when the bridge had monster's under it or something. Would she heck go over it. I could sense a huge rear coming so I made my spooky 11.2 Welsh ridden with DD on (lead rein on hacks) go first and he didn't bat an eye lid whilst the big girl was on her toes the whole way over - by bridge I mean a car wise very low concrete & walled bridge over a stream. She must've been over that bridge a hundred times before!

Then she walked through the dark woods and out on to the open common back in ID mode?!?!?!?

I would love to try a bit of dressage with the big girl - I wonder how she'd do (and me!) she's 17 now tho so might not take to teaching old dog new tricks :)

We found our first geocache tonight :D well impressed!

Tea was hit and miss too - think the fish had seem better days in the freezer but it did ok and the kids liked it - typical??

    Morning world

Pay day today and couple of payments have gone out as above. I'm still waiting patiently for a 0% offer on CCV - the statement is due now ish so I think come Monday it'll have been issued and I expect to see an offer next week, based on their previous offers. Fingers crossed. If they don't, I'll close the account next month and try for somewhere else as a plan B.

I'll get the horses paid for this weekend then they're covered until next month.

Everything else will just tick over.

Oh - I mentioned the other day I never spend on clothes for me, well I went to Aldi last night and they have their equestrian range in so I bought a much needed polo shirt for £9 I think it was! Spoilt!

Well I'm slowly getting there with swagbucks - heading towards my first pay out!!! I can't wait, all that effort for so little - I shall be more proud than any other payment I've made LOL. But as LAM's said in her diary - it all helps. Needs must.

This weekend will see geocaching, soup & bread making, maybe a picnic in the park, bike ride / dog walk, of course horses and more horses, maybe a good film and nice meal on Sat night, Sunday lunch oh and boring things like washing and housework!

I would also like to go through the loft (toy room) as the kids have been left to their own devices up there!

Oh and one more thing, I'm booking my B H S exam today - just stage 1 and working up as expected.

I joined another survey site last night which I can do as and when from my mobile, I don't find swagbucks great on the mobile so I shall flit between the 2. IF I can make £20 a month I will be pleased as it's money I didn't have and overpaying £240 a year will help in the long run even if it doesn't feel like it would even make a dent at the moment.

Just had a letter from the SLC saying I'm nearly done with my loan - not sure what planet they are in but I have a while yet - I did ring to check. Sounds like they're sending in advance as people just ignore them normally. I advised them I'm well aware of when my loan will be paid LOL

Booked my stage 1 exam - November - excited.
