PPI Party Pooper Debt-free and Proud!
I have just got back from Aldi - hopefully with enough food for the week. I hate shopping - especially using my day off for it.

Did you have a nice date night with hubby?

So hot here today and I really need to ride as competing this coming weekend so need to practise the dressage test.

Hope you have a good week. x

Can't get on the daily surveys and no gold ones available.

So I've looked at my budget and realistically I can't change it to more than £30 fuel and £25 groceries so I'll have to try for that next month and see where we end up.

Nothing else to report there :)

Work's nice and organised at the moment - hoping it stays like that.

Oh - managed to get some knitting done again this w/e - rock and roll or what?

Ah we did thank you, lovely to just concentrate on each other!

It's boiling here too and I have a jumping lesson tonight - normally it'd cool off by 7:30 but it's still so muggy at that time, hope she's ok for it.

I hate shopping too - even clothes shopping which I used to love!!! I'll get more salad on Wed (milk and salad always needs topping up mid week) and then that'll be it til pay day.

Have a good week too hun - soo close for you now xx

    Morning world :)

Even considering it's my long day (fin in office at 5:30 then working 8-10 at home) - a fine morning it is too!

And.... even though I have loads of tidying to do at home and already ran out of fruit - I'm feeling the joys of spring (in summer :D)

Kids last day at school tomorrow so my morning's will be slightly easier from then. I'm going to try and get something for them to take with them to Grandparents each day to keep them occupied. Their GP take them out so we're lucky.

Today I have brought lunch in (salad) and hope it'll see me through until 5:30 when I finish. I have a banana too and the machine does soup (well salt water with an oxo cube lol) so I should be ok. I need to pop out over lunch anyway so that'll break the day up. I need to pick up a couple of items for the kid's teachers for end of year.

Yesterday I got through most of my list and what I didn't has rolled over onto todays. I need a new post it pad there's too many lists!

All quiet on the money front.

Sooo my good mood is stemming from my lesson last night - it was fabulous - big girl jumped great although she was super strong. I was like a tomatoe at the end and she needed sponging off she was sweating buckets but not blowing so her fitness is coming on nicely too. I've going to give some thought to a better routine with her....come the winter I won't be able to ride every day and it always takes 10 times longer to do them when they're in. Anyway, she's having an easy day today as she might be feeling it, I can a little in my thighs, not that I was clinging on for dear life or anything LOL!

Right - I best get some work done, after all, that's what pays the bills!

Wow straight down to business today! Been really busy and the day's flown past. I have 20 minutes until next meeting which takes me to the end of my first shift for today. Only an hour required tonight too so should be ok. Must clean the house in between as it's starting to look like a student's abode again!

Points of note: complained to Hunt£r about some wellies I was kindly bought for Xmas as they split and they've sent me a new pair :)
Work's going well and I'm still feeling organised.
I'm finding I've settled into the new way of thinking now and accepting, rather enjoying, everything that I have NOW opposed to waiting for what I will have.
Getting organised for the kids' holidays as they start tomorrow. I've printed off 2 activity sheets each and they can take them with some colourings, their little computer pads (limit to 30 mins a day), a teddy and a board game. Hopefully there will be lots of outdoor fun to be had, I don't like children being cooped up inside.

Money wise things are ticking over, waiting until pay day on Friday before anything will be happening there except the PAD I've been doing.

I tell you what I have realised, if anyone ever reads this, is how I don't need to spend on clothes for me anymore - I used to buy new clothes weekly! (alot of my debt was clothes, shoes, bags and other) I now have enough in my wardrobe to "look" professional and different each day at work (ie new top) on a night I only wear yard gear and on a weekend I wear something nice once maybe :o\ but again I have plenty to see me through until forever! The only thing I will need is a new pair of work shoes as these have been repaired and repaired and giving up the ghost. They were £10 from Tesco and I've had more than their worth out of them! The same goes for makeup and creams - I used to fall into the expensive trap £70 for a small cream - ashamed.....It's going to take me a long time to pay for what I've done but boy I am happier in myself now than I was then!
