Fraught week here with DS2 having Chicken Pox and DH having more seizures. Don't want to spread money too thin, so just a £5 overpayment for me today.

October looks to be very expensive with a move to Bristol and several parties before I leave town. I shall keep on going as I love transferring over the extra payments to my barclaycard0 -

Thanks for welcoming me.I think it's a brilliant idea.I've been paying off debt now since January 2008 and have gone from £37,000 at start to £8600 as of now.It's hard when we are of state pension age but we got into this mess and we'll get out of it but can't wait to get rid of it as it's constantly on my mind and taking all our spare cash.But every extra bit is going to help.0

It certainly does! We had an enforced lightbulb moment when my Hubby had an accident 3 years ago. We've managed to clear £20k since then, and about £1800 of that was making little extra payments every Friday. It's amazing how it all adds up!
I look forward to joining you on your last bit of the journey to debt freedom!
