Ah, sorry to hear about your mc claretsgirl. I have no suggestions on the bedroom front other than asking if you have tried to get the other girls involved in deciding? I'm a big fan of getting the people concerned involved in coming up with the solution: at least I use the technique at work! I hope it all works out for you.0

Sorry to read your sad news claretsgirl x x
Does your home have a garage or anything which could be converted into a room? Or a loft? Maybe worth getting a quote and seeing how much it would be.
Just been to next and spent some of the money A had for xmas, got some lovely 2-3 bits
Have a good Saturday x x xLittle Man born 11 March 2012 :smileyhea

Afternoon all.
Got Scarlett weighed yesterday for the new year, 11lb 11oz (she's 13 weeks tomorrow) and if I measured her right she is 60cm long.
She had her 2nd lot of injections on Thurs, all smiles at the lady to begin with and then of course cried after the 1st injection. When the lady smiled at her again, Scarlett gave her the biggest frown, hahaha.
Thankfully cuddles from mummy stopped the crying by the time we were back in the car and then a quick walk around asda made her fall asleep which they told me that some babies get sleepy afterwards.
Re sleeping at night Scarlett used to be okay in the lounge with us until we went to bed at say 10pm and then would wake a few times in the night. Then she became fussy so we started putting her to bed at 8pm and that worked, we can only assume she preferred it being quiet and dark.
Just recently she's becoming tired between 7-7:30pm and wants her bed. So again we put her in our room, all lights off and she has her dummy. She always moves her head from side/side until she is comfortable and at the most takes her 30 mins to fall asleep properly. When she spits the dummy out we know she's in a deep enough sleep.
Roughly she sleeps through until 5:30 - 6. Has a big bottle (9oz) and then goes back to sleep until 8 - 8:30 and then is awake for a good 1.5 hrs before she wants a bottle. We do have a few nights where she wakes about 1am for a bottle though.
She doesn't sleep much in the day now, short naps of at the most 40 mins at a time. She is currently asleep and this is her 3rd spell of a nap.Mummy to two girls: October 2013 and February 20160 -
Many thanks for your suggestions. I hadn't thought about asking their opinions, of course that's the best idea. No garage unfortunately.
I think the best thing would be for the older two to share and baby have the box room. I am too scared to suggest this though as we originally moved to this house so they could each have their own bedrooms which they loved (they are VERY different personalities) but then their dad walked out, time moved on and I got a new partner and now a new baby so it's already been such an upheaval for them that I have tried to keep things as familiar as they have always been. I think I may be kidding myself now but I have done my best so far.
I think I will have to brace myself and have a a word with them when I am feeling a bit better. DD2 stops with her dad half the time anyway. X0 -

Happy new year ladies. I'm useless at keeping up with the thread! I hate tapping out replies on my phone, and its a rare event that I get to use the laptop these days!
Just a reminder that if anyone wants to join our facebook group, then send me a PM with the email address you use to log on to facebook with and I will add you to the group. Its just a way of people sharing more piccies n things rather than on an open forum.
Aliona is nearly 5 weeks now and suffering from colic quite badly. She had been on infacol which wasn't working (worked fab for DD1) and so I now have her on colief from the docs, but that doesn't seem to be working eitherHad the worst night we've had with her last night, I thought things were meant to get a little easier with time

Morning all
Claree I hope Ellis is settling better now and you are getting sleep, how's it going? X
Hugs Sunshine, my 3yr old seems to be having a constant tantrum these days, he cries more than the baby does! I really hope he improves x
Claret *hugs* I'm not sure what to recommend, do you think like others have suggested asking the girls and maybe offering to decorate/ new bedding etc? X
Lobey we didn't get a baby record book for my son as I couldn't find one to suit so instead I wrote in a diary and started a word document which I updated monthly. We've been given a 'Hungry Caterpillar' one for DD that I will probably use alongside a diary x
Speaking of memory items, what is everyone using for a memory box? Twice I've failed to find boxes with relevant years so I have a patterned storage box for my son but haven't found anything for DD yet x
How's everyone and their LOs? Can't believe DD is almost 6 weeks she's grown/ changed so much. Seems v interested in looking around / batting things with her hands so I've ordered a playgym. Hopefully it'll be here Monday.Trying to save for a deposit

Hi scarlet. I was wondering how you were just this morning. How are you and Chloe? Has your hubby gone away for work yet? XxDS born November 2013 :smileyhea0

Hi Vic we are good thanks, she's been getting a bit upset with trapped wind but otherwise ok, giving us lots of smiles! She's getting so big now, just outgrown all tiny baby/ first size stuff so now into newborn size I feel so sad packing things away! How are you and Thomas? OH leaves tomorrow
part of me is interested to see how I will cope but part of me is terrified of looking after both on my own, DS has been playing up so much lately
xx
