Happy new year all, we had a poorly baby most of Christmas so I was very glad she slept well at the New Year's party that we went to at a friend's house and even slept through the karaoke at 3am! Thankfully she seems to be getting better now so we're persevering with routine before I go back to work next month. She's currently whining because she can't figure out crawling and I've stopped her playing with the laptop cable though!0

Hello ladies
Sorry I havent been about for ages now, been mental with settling into the house and Xmas and new year....hoping it settles down now, will be nice getting back into some sort if routine.
Hope you all had a good crimbo? Ours was non stop with a very tired and over excited little boy. It was lovely though, he really enjoyed opening everyones presents! And loved his turkey dinner this timeHouse is now like a toyshop so I need to massively sort out everything.
Having some huge tantrums at the mo, literally if I give him the wrong spoon he has a huge tantrum. Normally it is food related, he would live on yoghurts if we let him, so if we say no to a yoghurt he has a huge paddy and throws himself on the floor!!! Not enjoying those moments if I am honest.
He is great in every other way though, talking like a trooper and growing up so fast

Happy New Year! Hope everyone had a lovely time.
The girls are still not well (they've been full of cold for 4 weeks now and they have really bad coughs) I think I'm going to have to take them to the docs. Amelia's been off her food so wondering if her throats sore too. Mollie's cough sounds awful in the morning, as if she's choking on phlegm
and Amelia has a dry cough all day long.
It just seems to be going round and round all our relatives. So of course the girls keep getting it
Apart from that, everything is fine!
I had a bit of a 'relapse' into my old party animal self on NY Eve :rotfl: We had a family get-together starting at 2pm, what with having babies in the family now and myself and my cousin needing to get babies home to bed early. My cousin decided to stay over and my Auntie persuaded my OH to let me have a night off and take the girls home by himself, which he did at 7pm. So I had a good old party night and crawled into bed at 4.45am
Gilly, I'm v jealous of your prezzie x:j:T Gorgeous twin girls born 1st Nov 2012 :T:j0 -
Morning ladies! Hope you all had a very merry Christmas and new year. Just wondering if there were any recommendations for baby keepsake memory books? I need to crack on before LO changes too much!0

Good morning ladies.
Sorry I haven't been around since I first introduced myself but I unfortunately had an expected miscarriage in the last couple of days.
We are ok though and know we are already blessed which is a huge comfort. We will be trying again as soon as we can.
Lily (seven months) is in a cot in our bedroom. We only have a three bedroomed house and the other bedrooms are already taken up!
I don't want to ask my other daughter to share as her big sister doesn't keep her bedroom very well (massive understatement!).
I'm not sure what the way forward should be. A bigger house isn't an option just now and I have previously had one daughter storm off to live with her dad. She came back soon enough and I'm pretty sure it wont happen again. The middle one spends half her time at her dads but has the box room so it wouldn't be easy for her to share that one.
At the moment it isn't a problem however and we may win the lottery this weekend so I wont worry about it. It's also lovely to hear her little sleepy noises and she always wakes up smiling at me in a morning.
